Did you ever get around to adjusting the redline and temps? I’ve had mine on (701) for over a year but still haven’t figured out how to adjust the parameters. Don’t know what the redline or the rev limiter is in these bikes either.
Me and electrical don’t mix 🤣 it was a challenge for sure! I feel like keeping it simple is great but for a bike your going to ride for extended periods, the temperatures help keep you informed. Good luck on the purchase of a 690! They are a huge step from a DRZ and you’ll love it!
Honestly I think they are awesome and we’ll worth the money! Until adjusted and you get used to them they are a little funky but work really well and I’m happy with em!
Niiiiice job dude. I put one of these on my 701....didn't take the header off but it was a little fiddly to get that little oil plug out...definitely got a bleeding knuckle doing it hah. Why did you opt for the one without a gear indicator tho....I basically have mine primarily for that.
Hell yeah! It was more of a pain in the ass probably for no reason.. but it has a gear indicator but I have calibrate it, did you have to do the same for yours?
Hi, I got the new version and connected accordingly. my bike is a 2022 Husqvarna 701 with power command 6. When I connect the RPM (white Y split cable), the bike will not start. If I remove the Y split cable, the bike starts up fine. I'm not sure if power command 6 is the issue. Do you know why and how to fix it?
I do not know why but that is super interesting.. are you putting the butts correctly? (Sounded funny haha) But wi would make sure the order is Factory > PC > Cumpan. That is the way I have mine set
This looks awesome, I’m so tired of installing things. I have a ‘23 and love it but the issues it can have are annoying. I’m totally fine doing automotive electrical but this bike freaks me out and the dealer had it for 4 months (I’m in California and they had it from September to November so I lost a lot of riding because we had amazing weather through early November 😢) all for a bad coil pack 😑
Thank you! And holy crap.. 4 months?? what in the hell?? That doesn't seem right. Electrically this is fairly easy, a lot of plug and play to not worry too much but with your 690's history, I could see how this could get scary hahaha
Hey man! I would try and recalibrate it within the menu system or even unplug and plug back in to factory reset the unit if that’s possible. Just some suggestions but I have not had the issue yet or needed to re-boot it.. let me know what you find out! I wish ya luck!
@@LifeWellRidden sorry for the delayed response I couldn't get into my account.. As long as the gear position sensor of the bike is properly calibrated, it works great. Can be a short delay indicating neutral from time to time, but otherwise mines been accurate and Ive had it for almost a year now.
Yo man I noticed you have asv levers on your clutch lever how did you sort the bolt issue out what size washers and nut to I need as mines just loosely holding the lever on
Hey hey! I actually went to an Ace hardware with the bolt and found a lock washer that sort of works, it's a bit sketchy and I just feel like it's a bad design on ASV's part but I haven't had much issue after that. As far as the size goes I cant even recall.. but I didn't use a washer, just left the bolt on the "loose" side
@@alex.crf450r oh yes I do haha I bought so many things over the winter and now finally getting them on the bike haha I’m excited to feel the difference!
minus the various angles to film and if youcould keep the header on (if you have good tools and tiny hands) then I would say an hour or so. If I was to release the whole un-edited video.. almost 3 hours.. hahah Best thing to do is plan your moves and tools before you get started!
@@LifeWellRidden lol, well my hands aren’t tiny and can you tell me the special tools I need that you had to buy? Thanks and enjoyed your video and put the stamp on me buying it.
@@bilicki44 Then I would take the header off haha it will make it easier to get the bolt out and cord back on the motor! Trust me.. Just start with that and it will save time! The one "special" tool that I had to buy was an extremely long extension to get the engine bolt out.. Now I didn't actually need to do that since I removed the header but the damn thing is a 1.5' long and some socket nuckle joints.. not necessary if you take the header off.
Hey man, I ordered the Cumpan from Berotec and it seems it doesn’t come with all the parts to install. Does the ACC- splitter have to be a separate purchase to install? Thanks my man

@@LifeWellRidden It doesn't matter what gear your in, just listen to the motor, if its bogging then drop a gear, if its winding then grab a gear. No need for a tach or gear indicator. A temp gauge I could see but even that you can just tell by feel.

Which mirrors are those, do they come with the hand guards or are they something after market that you can add to any of them?
