Martin Jones: Quartet No. 14

Quite different from my No. 12 on this channel. This has four movements in conventional order. It was written in 2020-1 during my sister-in-law's decline in health and eventual death, hence the Elegy. She had always been interested in my music and very supportive. The general intention is to give the players a good play - not without challenges, but rewarding in the end.
Here the sound is realised using NotePerformer 3 software, which does a reasonable job, with a couple of imperfections of phrasing that I couldn't correct.
The video shows much of the score, but I have left periods of fairly blank screen to encourage concentrated listening.
