Martin Jones: Uranus, God of the Sky

Second performance, 26 October 2019, by Opal Flutes, conducted by Sharon Moloney, who had commissioned seven composers to write new planets pieces. The first performance was in 2017.
For me this was rather experimental, involving aleatoric sections at the beginning and end, to represent the stars at night and the dawn chorus. The showery daytime section in the middle was normally notated.
