Thanks for showing the painted figures. Do you think including that front rank of pike with their pikes at porte, make the base hard to handle? I like the idea of a single base.
No I find them easy to move around. I find by doing this on 1 base protects the pikes. I intend to do all of the stands this way. Have been a little side tracked with 40k due to the 10th edition drop. Need to get back to Naps and ECW
Very nicely painted .I am not sure about placing all the pike block on one base as it would be difficult if using Warlords rules, placing them into the Hedgehog formation as on page 42
Hi Garth thanks for watching. Havent tried that for a moment as need to paint up another pike block. Currently painting "Le Grande Battery" with all the cannon bits you get with the French. Think I have 21 guns on the go...
@@lexiwilson9501 Nice idea but does it occupy the same area as the formation as shown on page 42.? epic Pike and Shotte is all about footprints on the battlefield , Thats my only reservation . I have based my Pike block with just an extra 60x20 base on the front of the Pike men at porte to protect the extended pikes .
@Garth Davies on this one there is a 20mm gap at the front. Had a mare sticking three warlord ones together so went with MDF. Thank you cor commenting and watching
Yes lol got a little sidetracked. Although have just started painting 3 artillery batteries for the French. I'm thinking about making a command for the battery.
These chaps are looking very nice, though maybe should have filmed them next Saturday hahaha. Beautiful work
Lol, long live the king. Thanks mate
Joyful little creations they are.
Yes they are to be fair, easy and quick to paint. Thanks for watching
They look great! Good job with the extra base on the pike stand. I am 3 units in and loving the detail.
Thank you really enjoying the epic ranges, want to get the French finished and then focus on the Anglo armies.
Wonderful work!
Thank you looking forward to getting back to them

Just place each musket base side-on against the pike block and facing outwards and this will represent the formation just fine.
