It’s something extremely cool about seeing franchises get their first championship
Had 2 of them in the last 4 years and the Bucks first in 50 years. Something tells me after Bron retires and this Warriors team dismantles next year, it will be a different team every year for the next 2-3 years until either another super team or a team built behind a player (Bucks/Nuggets) emerges. The Nuggets could win again, but we shall see.

The depth was insane. And when their shots aren't going in? They actually try other teammates unlike some teams that continue to have their "stars" shoot 20-25 shots a night.

@@sharifs649 We just disagree with semantics. I consider depth as those past the 2-3 stars of the team or the core, not just bench pieces. Denver relied heavily on the starting five. But their entire five were great. As was Brown and Braun.
For example, I would consider Poetl and GTJ as depth, even if they were both in the starting rotation. Scottie, Siakam, OG and Fred would be the core. You can comment if any are stars. Ha!Ha!

@@Kombo-Chapfika In a sport where the top three guys can take 80-90% of the shots? Sure it is. The ability of Denver to pass to others in the starting five is depth when compared to the star-centric teams like LAL, the Celtics and 76'ers.
By your definition, only the bench players in baseball are depth. I would say a batting order that has guys contributing 1 through 9 is depth vs. a team relying on a couple of sluggers.

Casuals don't understand that this nuggets team has been primed to takeover for the last 3 years. The bubble season should've woke everybody up to them.
People only cared about Bol Bol highlights in the bubble, they counted out the Nuggets because they got "lucky" and came back from 3-1 twice and "the bubble doesn't count". The Denver Nuggets and Jokic slander is finally over, no one is challenging them in the West until OKC have build their team in 2-3 years, barring injuries.
Casuals typically gush over just big market teams like LA Lakers, Boston Celtics, Philly 76ers, NY Knicks, etc or follow around Lebron, Curry, Durant, etc. Lol

Very weird since the last time the team that eliminated the Nuggets but never made the final was the Trail Blazers, in 7 games, 4 years ago. 2/4 teams eliminated them went on to win the ring. They were contenders, year in, year out, similar to the Bucks before.

Chuck and Shaq are hilarious but do not forget they were elite players in the NBA and know basketball inside and out. These dudes are brilliant when it comes to the game.
Besides talking about shooting, they know defense, rebounding and interior offense as good if not better than anyone alive.
I mean they know basketball and have experienced it but they have a lot of awful takes on the regular. And neither were known as high iq or professionalism.
I love Shaq and Chuck but they are not there for their basketball accumen. They're there to be funny and say outrageous things.

I grew up watching the Phoenix Suns when Sir Charles was playing, he was always my favorite player, not just for his skills, but for his personality, he ALWAYS tells it like it is. So glad to see he is still being himself. Congrats to the Denver Nuggets

Chucks predictions be on point. Its a blessing and a curse because its made him gamble way too much. Anyhow, thank God for Chuck, he is one of the reasons I listen to the media. I tend to agree with him the most and he doesnt take things so seriously. Hes made the NBA more watchable and he always gives the lesser known teams their proper exposure. The NBA is watchable now because there are new stars on the horizon and the era of stacked teams is over. Its back to teamwork, defense, posting up, physical gameplay, hard work, less egos, good coaching, loyalty, etc. all the things that made basketball fun to watch and play. Chuck personifies that and Im grateful for him. Keep rockin it steady Chuck.
I loved the way a year ago he called out the media for never covering the teams that had the ROY contenders - Cleveland, Toronto & Detroit. He said it was a shame that nobody got to watch Scottie, Cade and Mobley because we never have those teams on.
Chuck did not really gamble that much, outside of some freak injury derailing Nuggets, everyone who understand that basketball is team game had Nuggets winning it all.
He didn't understand those parlays when he kept saying "Yes" to half of them and losing.
Always liked Mr. Barkley from a distance, but now mad respect. No biases, straight analysis of talent and tactics, and he knew.
Everybody in the media knew. But, a fat European white guy on a small-market team, isn't allowed to be the prediction for the majority of the media.

The Heat did better than I expected as a #8 seed. They beat both Bucks and Celtics. The Heat played like they wanted it. The Nuggets are just a well oiled machine though.
Injuries cost the Heat, not taking anything away from Denver but I'd have loved to see the two go at it at or near full strength
