Nice video and yes your channel will grow. I have the same tank as you and I’m running the Kessil AP700 and don’t know where my par needs to be. Any suggestions??

It really depends on what you are stocking. The light in a fish only system doesn't really matter as much.
Do you know what type of coral you want to be keeping?
Kessil does some great lights! Not had a chance to use any myself.
When PAR testing it is quite import to ensure that your hand and arm are not obscuring the sensor.
Absolutely! Otherwise you'd shadow the light. I took the readings off camera to verify the PAR. Certainly helps checking. We really do overlook this!
Par meters usually come with a stick to hold it in the water. I'm assuming it's to prevent people from blocking light with their arms or any reflected light. Did there's come with a stick you could assemble?
Hi - unfortunately it does not come with a holder. I think you could strap it onto one of your utensils if you wanted that, there is plenty of wire which would allow this. I managed to get my readings without any interference though!

@@kalamazoo_reefer yeah, I have seen mixed reviews also. I think ultimately I got a good idea and since I did this and increased my PAR, things have improved.
Like anything in the hobby, these results we get from our tests may not be the same as others but, it's our scale of monitoring.
Really good video pal, always thought the corals are doing okay so par must be fine. But you've got me thinking now lol
