My 9 year old son shares the ability with me to be affected by ASMR. I have always taught him to not be embarrassed of it and to feel lucky to have it.. He puts on his headphones every night and says "It's time for ASMR Mom." He absolutely loves your trigger videos and this one is his favorite. Thank you so much for spending so much of your time in making these incredible videos for people just like my son and I. . .
jp whataboutit Once I showed what ASMR is to my 7 years old little brother and since then when he eats he always comes to me and starts chewing into my ear and asks if that sound is okay or not. And then he wants me to do the same for him.
I didn’t know much about asmr 5 years ago. I would feel very embarrassed if anyone found out that I listened to asmr. Now, if you haven’t heard about asmr even the slightest, you’re basically living under a rock 😆
Ugh, I know what you mean. I try to avoid those ASMRtists like the plague. Some whispers are okay, but I don't react well to attention-seeking behavior in other people; it makes me anxious, which is the opposite of what I want from an ASMR video.
I wish I could meet every one of my favorite ASMRtists (well, all ASMRtists actually) and give them each a huge hug and thank them for what they do. Really, it is such a beautiful, caring act to put so much time and effort into making videos for our tingly ASMR community. Amazing people! Xoxo :D
Just coming back after 8 years to say this vid still gives amazing tingles. It was the first ever ASMR video I watched, and the scratching sounds are still my favorite. Hope you and your family are doing well these days. Take care!
I could seriously watch an hour of nothing but you running that stick on your hair, neck, and face almost like a brushing video. So incredibly relaxing.
What works best for me is imagining how the object's texture would feel on a surface. By doing that, it feels like i actually feel it through sound. This is why i love the sounds of different scraping and tapping surfaces/textures.
You are probably one of the best Asmr artist i have ever seen. Just how well you do your videos and how well you understand asmr and how to get the great feeling to others. Thank you and keep making these awesome vids.
It's actually amazing to see someone so, involved, so 'in it' and passionate, I'm sure other people would call it weird, but this guy puts alot of effort in these I can tell
I've watched ASMR religiously for 4 and a half years to go to sleep, and even though I lost a lot of my tingle abilities, I keep coming back to your trigger therapy playlist and can always get one or two tingles from it, it's amazing. Thank you so much, MassageASMR
to get your tingles back, I suggest taking a break from asmr for a week or longer. That's what I did and I feel as though it's my first time listening to asmr again.
I remember not being able to sleep one night and decided to find something to help. I stumbled across Hypnosis for Sleep videos, and found that some of them gave me ASMR (although I didn't know what that was at the time). After a month or two of watching those every night, I stumbled across a video with ASMR in the suggestions box. After watching it my eyes opened to an entire community dedicating videos for people like me that can receive this effect. Now I'm a regular ASMR viewer, I watch a video every night to help me sleep. I just wanted to publicly thank all ASMRtists out there for their hard work, keep it up!!!
welcome to the ASMR :P i have had asmr experience almost my whole life.. i my self tried to google it with 'goosebump feeling in neck' and other discriptions.. often came across people with same feeling, but could never find videos on youtube that would give me these 'goosebumps' untill like 2 weeks ago i came across a video with asmr in the title so i googled what asmr ment.. eye opener for one, lol
I loved the head scratching bit. Scratching seems to be one of my biggest triggers. I was seeing this last night, and didn't want to sleep because I had tingle-overload. Unfortunately there's not many scratching ASMR videos. This one's brilliant.
When I try to lie down and watch this, nothing happens. But when I put it on in the background while studying, suddenly I'm in a constant state of tingle? Keep up the fantastic work, Dmitri
Truly amazing! I'm new to ASMR and this is very relaxing. I had to fight off the sleep to write this. Straight back to the video now! Keep up the good work!
Those scratching sounds are heaven. More! And thank you for all of your work. With this video I found out that, it wasn't painting/drawking that was my main trigger... it was the scratching noises...
such an amazing video! you deserve a billion subscribers!! I loved all the sounds. You are a godsend!! So talented! Thank you so much for this wonderful video, it really relaxed me!
right? I just had an ad that started with "BOOOOOOMM" right before this video began. my headset was turned up almost all the way because these videos are so quiet. I got so scared I nearly threw my sheets across the room and smacked my head on my headboard. what the heck.
I liked how much fun you seemed to have in this video. I'd just like to say thanks for taking the time to make these videos for us! You truly are an awesome person
I don't feel ASMR anymore, but it has become part of my routine to listen to your latest videos before going to bed. I've been sleeping like a drunk baby. You're really good at this, Dimitri. Thank you for the amazing content.
people always have something negative to say! You are awesome! And your Orangina Light poster is awesome, you have great taste in art decor! Thank you for this wonderful video!
The firm scratching you start doing at around 16:14 should be it's own video... With some talking . and some crinkling. This is my first comment but I've been subscribed for months. Take my vote into account.
Triggered so hard that I had to stop watching this so I could get some work done! That rhythmic scratching/drawing motion thing you do is an absolute killer.
You really have an ear and talent for this! Really loving the subtlety of the scratching. Every prop you pick has been fabulous! Love that wooden pen-shaped thing (don't knwo what its called but ive seen it in previous videos). You are Hands-down the best male ASMRtist and one of the best of all time! Keep up the great work!
I have several favorite ASMR artists, and you are one. But this video of yours is award winning and puts you in first place. You are very dependable for creating strong tingled, and your businesslike approach is both unique and quite cool. But this video is as close to perfect as it gets. From anyone. Great job! Keep up the thermojet with the wooden massage wand.
Thank you very much for this. I'm currently going through a rough time (again) which is when I need ASMR thrice as much. This video really does the job to calm me down. Thanks again!
The "double tapping" of the wooden block and the thermojet jar sounds, the closest I have got to ASMR tingles (but sadly still not quite the same as real ASMR) since childhood, super nice sounds!!
Fabulous as usual. I loved everything about it! Tapping and scratching pure sounds are huge triggers for me and so it light so when you brought out the torch...woah boy!
Hello Dimitri. You are absolutetly test best ASMR maker nowadays in my opinion. I have listened to a lot of them here on youtube but you're special :) Regards from Sweden.
Your videos are amazing ! DO NOT chang ANITHING in them , talk if you feel like talking or don't only if you don't feel like it ! You're the best Asmr performer ever
When you were scratching your hair with the stick it reminded me when our school nurse would check for lice(i was clear) and she would run through our hair very gently with the handle of a comb. Ohhhh so many tingles
Hoooooleee Mother of God. You "Drawing" on the black container with the massage stick gave me the most intense, all-over body tingles I've ever had. Thank you, new trigger!!
This is my favorite asmr video for studying and also one of my favs for falling asleep :) Your videos are true asmr masterpieces, Dimitri. Thank you for all of your amazing content and for your dedication. You're awesome, man!
I had actually noticed! It was something my sisters and I always wondered about. We would whisper by each others ears and it would just tickle like crazy. So it wasn't until recently that I was reminded about it and looked it up and found out it was ASMR. Whispers are what trigger me the most. It's very relaxing. I'm not sure if it's a good way to describe it? I'm sure there are plenty of people who have a great sense of what's going on around them without feeling that. One way I've heard it described is like when people 'draw on your back' with their finger you get kind of a strange relaxing feeling. Sometimes if the whisper ones are too intense I will move my back almost in reflex to get away (not painful, but like when people move away from being tickled). All in all, I think it's super bizarre, but really cool at the same time.
I love it when you "write" on the plastic jar with the wooden stick, more than just going in circles with it. I dunno why.
My 9 year old son shares the ability with me to be affected by ASMR. I have always taught him to not be embarrassed of it and to feel lucky to have it.. this is so wholesome man im going to cry
His breathing is loud but it's rhythmic so it's comforting, I hate people who breath loud but unevenly, unlike dimitri, his breathing is soothing
Yeah. Like Darth Vaders breathing, now that was somehting!
Wary97 haha! Yes!
Aaron Campbell 100% agree
This was great... no flirting and teasing that I see in other channels. This is how asmr should be.
i actually do like whispers aswell, i guess everyone has differend triggers.
but, i see what you mean, this guy is a performer, more professional:)
Ugh, I know what you mean. I try to avoid those ASMRtists like the plague. Some whispers are okay, but I don't react well to attention-seeking behavior in other people; it makes me anxious, which is the opposite of what I want from an ASMR video.
history has been made lol he used his own head as an asmr instrument
history has been made
he doesnt use headphones
He’s a legend 😂

When he rubs the wooden thing down the side of his head, it really feels like it's being done to me. Almost like a relaxing tickle. Great job!
Dimitri you are the most therapeutic ASMR for me. Most tingles, most relaxation. Can't wait to be able to be patreon.
Are you a Doctor Who fan? Either way, great name!
Adriane Kuzminski actually I legally changed my name - Elisabeth Sladen was a treasure :)

I think if more people discovered ASMR, the world would be a happier/healthier place! You can be the ASMR King!
I like his breathing, it's super relaxing!
More like super rapey

I never had heard of ASMR before tonight. I thought I was the only person that got into listening to sounds like this. This is great.
I could listen to your tapping and scratching and crinkling all day, very very relaxing and definitely tingle worthy!
I love the no talking videos! Whispering creeps me out.
Yeah
I think I've listened to too much asmr because now I depend on it to sleep lol
So do I ... And I can't sleep without these videos😂
I mean it's 3:30 in the morning and all I wanna do is listen to asmr but because I like watching the video as well I can't sleep...I'm hate myself :D
Same here. Its not kinda a bad habit though , so not rly a big matter
too much is never enough ;)
+International Playboy is me it is a bad habit.
lol "whisper is good, trigger therapy 1.1" is what he wrote on the lens cover at 13:00
Well done on spotting that!
I'm wondering what he is writing at 15:30-16:10
"ASMR is really good"
"I love giving u ASMR"
That scraping is brilliant. Some of the best triggers I've found.
Pff nerd
You are probably one of the best Asmr artist i have ever seen. Just how well you do your videos and how well you understand asmr and how to get the great feeling to others. Thank you and keep making these awesome vids.
I love how deliberate you are! When people tap too sporadically or loudly it unnerves me, but these sounds are heavenly.
It's morning here in the U.K. I just woke up with my earphones in..thank you!!
For some reason the no talking intros really get me. I love the hand movements communicating the video title
It's actually amazing to see someone so, involved, so 'in it' and passionate, I'm sure other people would call it weird, but this guy puts alot of effort in these I can tell
Scratching the wooden stick on that tub was amazing, best tingles I've ever had!
I watch asmr videos just about every day, but I haven't had head tingles like this in a long time. The scratching on the head thing was glorious!

You always put so much effort into making the sounds just right. I like how dedicated you are.
Hate it when AMSR people keep talking, so this video is great and direct. Sound quality is the very best.

after going through the halo games 1-4 on legendary without break this really soothes my brain thank you
I loved you drawing/writing on the lens cover!
I didn't know you were ASMR , Ross. That's cool!
Yeah! I didn't realize it until a number of months ago. I looked it up and found out there's an entire community on RUclips.
Do you get ASMR triggers?
I don't but I wish I did! I am fascinated by it all. Have you noticed this tendency all your life? Can you describe the experience?
I had actually noticed! It was something my sisters and I always wondered about. We would whisper by each others ears and it would just tickle like crazy. So it wasn't until recently that I was reminded about it and looked it up and found out it was ASMR. Whispers are what trigger me the most. It's very relaxing.
It almost feels brought on by a really heightened sense of spacial awareness..? If that makes any sense at all. Sometimes I feel tingles just when people are around me, or if I know someone is standing close behind me. Sometimes I get it even if I sense someone looking at me or staring. I'm not sure if it's a good way to describe it? I'm sure there are plenty of people who have a great sense of what's going on around them without feeling that.
One way I've heard it described is like when people 'draw on your back' with their finger you get kind of a strange relaxing feeling.
Listening to stereo or 3D Binaural auditory recordings is really neat, because they can "get really close" with sound. And, for me, I think it's that "closeness" that really makes you feel a presence that triggers some kind of "alertness."
The feeling itself I feel in my back, kind of starts (probably in my brain) at the start of my neck/head and goes all the way down my spine. It's a kind of mix between a tickle and a muscle spasm..? Sometimes if the whisper ones are too intense I will move my back almost in reflex to get away (not painful, but like when people move away from being tickled).
All in all, I think it's super bizarre, but really cool at the same time.
so do you seek this feeling out? It's pleasureable, right? A tickle is something that one generally avoids...
So many tingles, its amazing because if you have headphones it changes sound to left to right (: awesome video
Ooooooh anytime you rubbed surfaces together or scratched things with that wooden pen was excellent! Very tingly for me :)
The hair scratching was brilliant, my hair is cut close on the sides as well, so the trigger was even greater.
You're killing me lately. Your crinkle videos are my kryptonite.
I love the writing on the lens cap !
