Hi family. I have discovered that since I made this video most of the products I used were discontinued. So I've listed in the description box some of my tried & true favorites. I hope that helps. And, I've been getting several comments that say, "You talk to much." So here is the time stamp for when I start into the tutorial 2:52 Please forgive me as this video was made in the early days of my channel. I appreciate your patience so much. 💜 Oh & since this video, I've learned to use a microphone & the sound is much better. 🙃🎤🎚
Hi@@Michelle-pw1nt I have an updated one very recently. I hope you found it & liked it. I'm so excited for you to be here with me! Sending welcome hugs...💜💜💜
You did a great job demonstrating this! It's so nice to see a fuller-faced, over twenty-something woman showing us how to contour! Like it or not, our features do change over time. This demo was spot on! Thank you!
Excellent tips! I discovered contouring about 5-6 years ago (when I turned 40 actually!) and have been addicted ever since. It makes me feel so much more pulled together, confident and defined. 🥰 No matter what I weigh this year (haha). I think that’s another reason I’ve gotten addicted to makeup because it doesn’t matter what size I am, it helps me feel beautiful (and maybe even a little creative and artistic) every day. I suppose it’s part of learning self love and taking care of myself too. ☺️
You are so real & down to earth just like talking with a girlfriend. You are a natural in front of the camera! Thanks for giving us a contour routine that I know I can do! FINALLY! All of the others I’ve attempted made me look older & cakey! Keep up the great videos you have a great arsenal of makeup knowledge!
Gain and loss are equal opportunity face changers. With age I lost fat taking away contour along with some drooping. I sincerely appreciated this video. I’m excited to try you’re ideas. You’re an angel
Fat faces are adorable! They are youthful looking due to the fat. There is nothing negative about a fat face. I wish I still had my fat face. People had always mistakenly thought I was 15 years younger than my actual age until I lost a lot of weight and all the fat disappeared along with the fat in my face! 😢 Of all the places on your body that you would want the fat gone the face should never be one of those places. How many Celebrities get fat injections to fill out their faces so that they can appear youthful! Who wants to look gaunt?! To all those with fat faces, Be proud! You will age very gracefully and youthful looking! 😊
That’s so true. I have a round face and it’s part of what kept me young looking for so long. And nice full lips. The last couple years o have really started to show my age though. Man I get carded till I was 40! Lol. Ahh, the good old days!
Really liked how you contoured and not used too many products but kept it effective and simple. Somewhere following makeup tutorials on youtube as a beginner i get lost following as there's too much happening but yours was simple to follow.
Hi there Angel, I'm so very glad that you found it easy to follow. I know what you mean about when a video says "for beginners", so many time it's too complicated. So definitely not for someone just learning. I hope that you had a chance to try it and that it turned out for you? hugs sweetie xx
Lot of respect to you, for this video. I'm 67 yrs. Young, my face has changed over the year's. Now i can help it look good again. Thanks to your honesty. God bless.
@@MrsMelissaM Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. As i go along, I'm sure I'll have questions. It's nice to know i have someone to turn to. God bless.
Really found this video helpful and instructive. I’m 68 and never tried contouring or highlighting but probably will after watching this video. Thanks for the great tips. 👍
Great info. I had never heard of the two, three, four finger method. I immediately grabbed a mirror. I need the double chin, jowl line contour.. I am 60 and am starting to see my maternal grandmother looking back at me. I gain weight in my neck. I enjoy your videos.
Hi Marie, I had to giggle when you said you see your grandma looking back at you...I think that all the time. And I hear my mom's words in my ears..."oh I hate getting old' I wish we could enjoy every moment instead of have regrets. I'm so glad that you are enjoying the videos..hugs to you sweetie xoxo
I just came across your video now and loved it. I have a fat round face and was looking on how to contour it . Thanks for the tips. You are beautiful ❤
Thank you for your tutorial! I have the same beginning jowls and recently discovered that I can “improve” the same basic contour, by going over the jowl (not just underneath). That way you create an illusion for a straightened line, instead of “wavy”. It’s not sufficient to shadow under the jaw line, because it just showcase the jowls in a wavy jaw. But if you “over line” and blur it (smile to see how much you need to adjust it), then your jawline will appear lifted! Try it a few times and you will see it working:)💕
I love you so much, Melissa!! As a mature fat face, I can totally use this in my everyday makeup routine!!! You're one of the most real RUclipsrs I have ever watched and I look forward to your videos!!! Love, Your biggest fan
OH MY GOODNESS! What a kind comment Shelley, thank you! And I'm honored that you're my biggest fan! You just truly made my day! Sending hugs your way! xoxo
Omg! You're stunningly beautiful!!! I too have fibromyalgia so I totally understand what you meant the sagging skin is horrible from me being sick for so many yrs. Thank you for your tips. 💜
Thank you for the awesome video and tips. I am 60 and I too have fibromyalgia for many years. I take 2 prescriptions one is Duluxetine (Cymbalta) and Methocarbamol. The meds do help but I still have flare ups. Your hair looks beautiful and so does your makeup.
I'm so glad to have come across this video! I needed a more realistic contouring tutorial for a "mature face" (I just turned 48--ack!), but I also found another Fibro-Sister. I can't wait to watch more vids that you've made! God bless!!!
I'm so glad that you found me! Just want to say welcome to our little family. I hope you enjoyed the other videos. Let me know I can help with anything at all, that's what I'm here for. xoxo #fibrowarrior
I just found your channel and I'm so happy. Finally, someone talking about maturing skin with realistic tips and tricks. I am turning 48 this summer and I am struggling with my changing skin. Products and techniques that worked great, are suddenly not working at all. Im still searching for several products for my very dry, dehydrated skin. I am going to binge watch all your videos!
Hi there Tanta! I'm so excited that you're here with me. Yes our skin is definitely different as we age, and with different challenges too! When i turned 47 i started to notice it too! I hope you're enjoying the videos! Sending you a new friend hug! ❌⭕❌⭕
I found this video very helpful. I’m a “late bloomer” (age 59) learning how to contour after putting on weight during menopause. Your video tutorial makes it very easy. I’ve looked at many and they’re so complex and not really geared towards my age. I do have a question, what have you found to be the best foundation that doesn’t break the bank? Any suggestions for women my age? Thank you!
I’m so glad you tagged this on your latest video!! This was really helpful. I also have a round face and a four-finger forehead. Lol. I wore bangs since I was in the first grade until just a couple months ago in an effort to hide my forehead. A girl I work with finally convinced me to do my hair different. You know no one noticed the bangs were gone but I started getting so many compliments that I looked younger! People just said there’s something different about you...did you get a makeover...new glasses...Botox?!?! Lol I wish I’d gotten rid of the bangs completely covering my forehead years ago.
Hi Angel, I had the very same experience. I have such a high forehead that I always thought I had to wear bangs. It's just been this year that I stopped, in fact if you look at some of my older videos you'll see mine. I'm having so much fun with my long hair. You rock it girl, I bet you look amazingly beautiful! xoxo
THANK YOU! I am 49 and have a very round face that is experiencing a lot of sag from a large weight loss. This was so very helpful & proved a prefect guide to show me how to "rejuvenate" myself.
Love it! You look amazing before the contour and gorgeous after the contour! I haven't tried the contour down my neck in a V. But you can bet I will! Thanks for doing this. This is so much simpler and better than most I've seen!
New subscriber here. So refreshing and nice to see a " relatable " beauty youtuber. Loving the videos ive watched so far. Very helpful and interesting.
Hi Miss Sparkz! So happy that you've subscribed, thank you! I'm really glad that you are enjoying the videos. I really appreciate the feedback. Welcome to our family!
Great job! I'm a makeup junkie and think I'm pretty good at contour but really want to make under my neck look thinner. I like that trick taking it down the neck in a v shape! It made such a difference on you! Great video!
This was great! Very informative and easy to follow, and I can't wait to try it! I bought a contour palette recently and it was a bit of a mystery to me what to do with all of it. lol
I took two screenshots, one at the beginning, and one at the end. Put them side by side and WOWWWW what a difference! You've blended it so well and used just the right amount of product for us older ladies, I'm going to try this now! Thank you ❤️
I'm so very happy you enjoyed the video Pamela, and I hope it turned out well for you! Thank you so much for spending a few minutes with me here! hugs! xo
Girl I'm in the same boat. I have fibromyalgia also. I tell everyone, when they telle oh you're not fat, let me tell ya, I'm just keeping my wrinkles plumped up. Love this tutorial. Great tips. Thanks
Hi Gina, I know, the more weight I lose the more pronounced my wrinkles get. And I'm not even close to my goal. Shudder at the thought...lol. hugs girlfriend xoxo
just butting in here...I just saw a health and wellness video and it stated that a selenium supplement can cure fibromyalgia in 3 weeks. idn have it but it may be worth the research...good luck
I’ve got fibromyalgia too. I give u props mama cuz I rarely have energy to even do my makeup. I’m a disabled, army veteran & single mother of a very active 2 yr old. I just wanna feel pretty sometimes so makeup is all I’d be able to do. Thnx for this video. I hope I’m able to try it out soon. 🙏🏼💖😊
So I got diagnosed with fibromyalgia and gained alot of weight but I didn't know that was a side effect of the disease (idk anything about it no education resources given) but the medication I thought was causing the weight gain? Help..
I really enjoyed your video. I found it to be VERY useful and alot easier than the others out there. I'm 51 years young. So this helped me out SOOOO much. Keep up the advice for us older women. God Bless. By the way your A Beautiful amazing woman
I do have a tutorial on it. here is the link. ruclips.net/video/JU0yE4DpnzE/видео.html I don't have hair like that anymore because of my health and some major hair loss that I experienced. I hope you do enjoy it though.
You are awesome I’m 39 and have both issues with some aging and a chubby face. You broke this down beautifully with products that dont break the bank!! Thank you so much!!!
Hi Jami, I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. I know we all can't afford high end, and drugstore is every bit as good as more expensive products. Thank you for your comment, because hearing from you does help me to know how I'm doing and I so appreciate this. Sending hugs your way dear xoxo
Hey pretty lady. I’m going through your videos .. how wonderful .. I’m 44 and have started getting signs of aging this is so helpful ! I am starting to get s little bit loose skin.. it’s sucks ! I feel 20ys old .. 😂I have gained weight the past year so this is helpful! Great job
Hi Cheryl, I'm so very happy that you found the video helpful! And thank you for checking out some of my older videos. I know what you mean about feeling 20! xoxo
Well I learned that I definitely need contour on my forehead. 😂 You're so high energy it's a bit overwhelming but great tips so I subbed. I noticed that YT unsubbed me from two channels that I had just subbed to the other day which was annoying bc I don't want notifications popping up all day but I do still want to be subbed to channels I like. 😒 I thought I had accidentally forgotten to sub to one but when I noticed the other I knew something was wrong. Now I know why. Thanks 💚
I have had fibromyalgia since 1995 so I understand everything you are going thru ! I am impressed that you can even do this‼️ I am watching & you are a God send ♥️
Awww Pam, bless you for saying that. There are days that it's really hard. 2018 was my worst year. But I'm so hopeful for 2019. Cheers to a great year for us both. Sending you gentle hugs xo
I loved your video. An actual genuine woman finally doing make up videos!! I have a round face and I cant wait to try your contour its so simple to do x
I noticed that you didn't blend when you finished. How do you manage to avoid needing to blend the contour lines. I see a lot of blending going on in contour videos. Please and thank you!
I think it has a lot to do with the color I used and pressure too. I do recommend you blend until you feel like it's enough for what you like. It's all about what you feel comfortable with. I like mine a bit less blended to keep the darkness in the area, but the edges definitely need blended a lot. I hope that wasnt more confusing.
Loved your video. I will try as of tomorrow. I will check on Amazon for the same brush that you used Thank you. I too have that kind of face and i will be 52 in March
Thank you, thank you so much for this video! I have the same exact problems and I have never seen anyone address them like you have. Just wow.............Now all I have to do is save the money to get the exact brushes and products and I will be back to follow your instructions again!
Hi there Stacey, I hope you are enjoying the other content on my channel. And thank you so much for your kind compliment. I look back at these pictures and wish my hair was still that healthy. But then I just think, well, hair grows right... anyway, rambling, sorry about that. hugs my new friend xx
MrsMelissaM Beauty mama, u r prettier than the lady from legally blonde & Stifflers mom, not to be mean cuz both ladies r very pretty. Ur a very pretty lady. I have fibromyalgia too but it’s hard for me to do my makeup except for rare occasions.
Love this video! I learned anew about taking the contour down the front of the neck to elongate the neck. I can’t wait to try this! I have a short neck, & I always contour, so I’m going to try it ASAP. Thank you so much! ✨💖✨
well hello there Leandra, what a pretty name. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and I hope that you continue to like my channel's content. I'm looking forward to hearing from you many times. Sending Welcoming hugs your way xx.
You are such a wonderful presence in my life! I am also in my 50’s, with fibromyalgia, and have gained, um, “a bit” of weight - especially in my face. This video is fantastic!
Hi there Cindy, I'm so sorry that it took me a bit to respond. I love to welcome new ladies. I'm so happy that you found me and I'm hoping that you continue to enjoy the content. I'm looking forward to getting to know you. Please comment as often as you like. I love the interaction so much. Big welcoming hugs coming your way my dear xoxo
Thank you, our faces are very similar. You can tell a difference, too! I recently got a contour palette and I'm learning how to do it. ( I'm 64) LOL but have very good skin I'm told, ( I agree ), have always taken care of it and now the sagging is really showing up!! Again, thank you for your video and you DON"T talk too much, I need all the directions I can get!
Hi dear, thank you so much for this kind comment. I do much better now with not rambling, but the teacher in me always wants to over explain things...lol! I hope that the video helps you. I think contour charts make contour seem much more complicated than it has to be. I'd love to hear how it turns out for you. BTW, I love your username! xoxo
@@MrsMelissaM Your welcome, and I used to be a teacher too! But I'm terrible with disciplining a whole class and I am more suited to deal with mental health issues so I became a therapist. I also kind of think outside the box, hence the name LOL I think the contouring turned out well, like everything else I need practice. I don't want to look like the 80's when blush was like this big line under your cheek bone LOL I got an Anastasia contour palette on EBay for only 13 bucks, I love it. Thanks again!!
Thank you so much, I have been wanting to learn how to do this and I just came across your video tonight, you are definitely someone I will watch every time you come on you have no idea how thankful I am that I found you, I am 56 and have fibromyalgia also, and I have gained over 100 pounds in six years so mine used to be thinner face is quite round now, I actually quit wearing make up for years and decided that it was time to start living again, all my life you wouldn’t of caught me without make up from early morning till I went to bed, thank you thank you thank you for being here, you made my day.
Hi there Glenda, oh my dear I'm so glad that you are here with me too! And thank you for sharing some of your story with me. It sounds like we have an awful lot of the same struggles. I used to be that girl too, the all day makeup and hair lady. Now I'm the out for 2 hours and stripping my bra off and jumping into my jammies the second I hit the door girl....lol. I'm looking forward to getting to know you more dear! big welcoming hugs dear...xoxo
Thank you so much for sharing! You are gorgeous! I love that you look so natural. I'm 55 and overweight and also have fibro. My confidence has taken a hit, but I'm looking forward to trying this.
@@MrsMelissaM thank you! I just came back to watch your video again because I loved it so much. I got my contour and highlight kit today and I'm going to try it out. I will let you know.
I just want you to know you are my very favorite die for make up tips. Thank you for all your help. I shied away from make up my whole life and you have encouraged me to try. My big problem has been finding a foundation that doesn't sweat off FL is HOT and humid and my upper lip sweats so much!
Thank you for telling me that Wendy. That makes me feel so good about the direction that I'm trying to take my channel. I love hearing that you are trying makeup. As far as foundation goes, I know it is so hard and the humidity down there doesn't help I'm sure. Have you ever watched Zabrena? She has very oily skin and lives in FL too. She might have a foundation playlist if you're interested. Some of the foundations that she tries really hold up well.
New Subscriber here and Loved this Tutorial. I'm literally amazed that you were told that you talked too much. I guess some people did not learn that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. I have learned how time consuming it is to make these Tutorials...filming, editing, etc., etc., etc.. I for one feel very blessed to have someone spend all that time helping me, and MANY people like me to learn so much valuable info. So all I can say is Thank You so very much! I'm sure I will be binge watching all of your Tutorials!
Hi Mrs. Melissa! Still backtracking and catching all of your past videos and I absolutely love this one! After surgery it left my neck, chin and cheeks puffy looking, even tho it's been several months so I am definitely going to try this and get used to my face as it is now and forever will be I suppose. This gave me hope so I thank you my friend! 💘💖💘 Love ya, Jo-Ann
@@MrsMelissaM Now I'm more than just hopeful, I have been doing it ever since and wow it sure does make a difference! Slims out my face and under my chin not nearly as noticeable 😍 I even put my picture on Instagram for the first time since my surgery, which I don't normally use, (there's just one photo of me and one of my son on there how funny..) If you're interested in what I look like after chatting so much, it's under joannrings,, love ya my friend Jo-Ann
Thank you for showing your technique with the jawline and neck. I have tried the jaw lightly but was afraid it would look like I have dirt on. I haven't thought to run it down the front of my neck. I'm glad to see how you added the blush. I do mine the same way thinking if I was blushing or got some son, that is where it would be but I don't see anyone do blush that way. Thank you, as always, great job!
hi Jill, you hit it exactly u on my dear. if you had been in the sun, it would hit the top of the cheeks, so that's where blush goes right? I also don't bring my blush very far in the front or apples of the cheeks, especially with my round face. and if you blend your contour well, it should only look like shadow, definite not dirt, but try it a few times just with a lighter hand & see how you like it! love ya! xoxo 🍃💟🍃💟🍃💟🍃
That was truly incredible. Thank you so much! I have always carried weight around my face and now that I am over 50, I am also getting the jowls 😕 What an incredible difference on your cheekbones, jawline and especially your neck! That V is incredible. Thanks again - you made my day 💗
Yes Jennifer, that can get that way, but remember that the shade that you chose should look a little "muddy" otherwise it won't create a shadow. And if you feel like it's getting muddy down the cheek, position your brush so that it's just above the contour on the cheeks, then blend, and if it's for the forehead then use downward motions from the hairline towards the brows. I hope that might help a little. xoxo
Oh my word, finally! Thank you so much for making this video for us. I just came across your channel when I searched how to do my eyebrows. Well, half-eyebrows lol, I'm turning 53 next month and I don't know where the other half of them went! lol. You're adorable! Had me in stitches a couple of times. Definitely subscribing now - and thank you for sharing joy. Needed those giggles right now in South Africa - going to share your video's with my friends too!
This was great Mellisa❣️ I learned a lot, the forehead tip great idea, I've put on menopause weight😱 so this will help me locate my cheek bones, lol!, you explained how to position the contour so well, Thank you💞 you look beautiful xox😘😘
hi Cher, I'm glad that you learned new things from it. I think RUclipsrs need to get back to basics teaching. somehow that got lost in think?!?! anyway, I'm happy you enjoyed it & I hope you are having great week! xoxo 🍃🌹🍃💚🍃🌹🍃
Just think you are the cutest. I just found your videos and started watching and you have the sweetest demeanor. I am built just like you and I too have an autoimmune disease only mine is Lupus. Thank you for helping me get back into makeup. I’ve been scared to jump in with both feet but you have helped make it fun and easy. I can’t thank you enough. Hugs from Alaska.

You look fabulous. I contour occasionally, but I always fear that I look like I have too much going on in the cheek area, though I blend, blend, blend.

Hello there ! How're you doing
Thank you!
Hi Kathy. I have 2 foundation videos that I've done recently.

She looks great!!! 😍😍😍👍🏻💕
Lol
I wish I’d gotten rid of the bangs completely covering my forehead years ago.
Hi Angel, I had the very same experience. I have such a high forehead that I always thought I had to wear bangs. It's just been this year that I stopped, in fact if you look at some of my older videos you'll see mine. I'm having so much fun with my long hair. You rock it girl, I bet you look amazingly beautiful! xoxo
I spend a lot of time on here searching for new makeup tips , and this is by far the most helpful contour video I’ve seen ! Thank you !
oh wow Jessica, this was such a huge compliment! Thank you so very much for taking the time to comment. xoxo
This was one of the most detailed contouring videos I've seen! I was very impressed! Great job!
awww, what a nice thing to say! thank you! xoxo 🍃🌻🍃💛🍃🌻🍃
This is so much simpler and better than most I've seen!
hi Charlotte, I'm glad you felt like it was easier. makeup shouldn't be hard. it's too much fun! xoxo 🍃💖🍃💖🍃💖🍃
Holy moly Melissa! This is terrific information and instruction. I can up my contouring game too, thanks to you.
Woohoo! So glad you liked it Deb
Hi Mandy, you'll have to let me know how you like it when you try it. I'd love to hear from you. hugs xx
Help..
I also have fibromyalgia. My face is more round than ever. I need these tops.
I really enjoyed your video. I found it to be VERY useful and alot easier than the others out there. I'm 51 years young. So this helped me out SOOOO much. Keep up the advice for us older women. God Bless. By the way your A Beautiful amazing woman
Thank you so much JoAnn! I'm super happy it was helpful to you. That means a lot to me!💜
You are just so pretty! An absolute glamour girl !
awwww, thank you for being so sweet! xoxo 🍃❤🍃❤🍃❤🍃
Girl, you are beautiful, but I'm really loving your confidence.
Can you please do a tutorial on how you do your hair? I love it. It’s beautiful.
I do have a tutorial on it. here is the link. ruclips.net/video/JU0yE4DpnzE/видео.html I don't have hair like that anymore because of my health and some major hair loss that I experienced. I hope you do enjoy it though.
You are amazing. I love your open acceptance of who you are and your illness, That makes a beautiful lady inside and out.
Thanks so much Tina
Best contour video ever!! Thank you :)
Luv yur videos ❤❤
You are awesome I’m 39 and have both issues with some aging and a chubby face. You broke this down beautifully with products that dont break the bank!! Thank you so much!!!
Hi Jami, I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. I know we all can't afford high end, and drugstore is every bit as good as more expensive products. Thank you for your comment, because hearing from you does help me to know how I'm doing and I so appreciate this. Sending hugs your way dear xoxo
You are adorable! I definitely need this but I'm so fair that I've never found a contour that looked decent on me, but it looks great on you!
Hi Susan, try finding a light eyeshadow in a neutral tone. It will work just as good and they blend out good too. xoxo
I know what you mean about feeling 20! xoxo
These are the videos I absolutely NEED and LOVE❤️❤️❤️ I never knew about the finger length on the forehead and that is so so helpful!! Thank You!!!!
truth be told Crystal, I could probably do 5 fingers, but that's how I learned. so glad that you like these videos. luv you lady! 🍃⚘🍃⚘🍃⚘🍃
MrsMelissaM LOVE THEM❤️!! Keep them coming, they're the BEST!! Thank You😘😘 XOXOX
Crystal Fuentes I never knew that either. Great tip! I'm like 2 3/4.....so I guess I could use a little?
hi Beth, with your hairline, I really wouldn't worry about it. honestly I bet it's just fine! xoxo 🍃⚘🍃⚘🍃⚘🍃
hi Crystal, I loved it when I learned that too. such a great tip! luv u! xoxo 🍃❤🍃❤🍃❤🍃
I thought you looked fantastic before you even got started.
You are a natural beauty.
Thank you for the tips.
You're very welcome and thank you for the sweet comment.
Thanks 💚
Thank you! Simple technique with great explanations. You address all my aging/fattening issues and offer inexpensive product suggestions. ♡♡♡♡
So happy it was helpful Kate! xoxo
Absolutely fabulous video. Wonderful tips. You definitely make it work! Thanks so much. - xx, Cindy & Carla (2 Real Chicks Channel)
hey there ladies, really glad that you enjoyed the tutorial! thanks for watching! hugs to you both! 🍃💛🍃🌻🍃💛🍃🌻🍃💛🍃
You’re a Stevie nicks dupe! ❤️
You don’t talk too much. You are wonderful and helpful. Thanks!
Oh thank you for this kind comment Michelle!😘
Beautiful.
thank you Linda xoxo
I loved your video. An actual genuine woman finally doing make up videos!! I have a round face and I cant wait to try your contour its so simple to do x
Hi Rocio, I'm so happy that you liked it. I hope it works well for you. Please let me know if I can help with anything! xoxo
@@MrsMelissaM Not confusing! Impressive!!!
Loved your video. I will try as of tomorrow. I will check on Amazon for the same brush that you used
Thank you. I too have that kind of face and i will be 52 in March
Hi Nathalie, I'm so glad you're going to try it. I hope that it works for you. xoxo
Thank you, thank you so much for this video! I have the same exact problems and I have never seen anyone address them like you have. Just wow.............Now all I have to do is save the money to get the exact brushes and products and I will be back to follow your instructions again!
Thank you so much for doing this topic!! Love the look and instruction :) Your hair is just gorgeous as well!! :D
Hi there Stacey, I hope you are enjoying the other content on my channel. And thank you so much for your kind compliment. I look back at these pictures and wish my hair was still that healthy. But then I just think, well, hair grows right... anyway, rambling, sorry about that. hugs my new friend xx
You're what they call big & beautiful! ☺ You don't need to contour if you don't want to, but go ahead & be fun & versatil! You just go girl!
So sweet of you Nancy!
I'm getting legally blonde vibes. Remember Paulette? The beautician who was trying to learn the " bend and snap"? You totally look like her!
I get told a lot that I look like her...too funny!
@@MrsMelissaM You're prettier tho and don't have fake lips =)
Oh haha yea!!
Her name is JENNIFER COOLIDGE she was the crazy mom in AMERICAN PIE too and is also on the sit com TWO BROKE GIRLS
Love this video! I learned anew about taking the contour down the front of the neck to elongate the neck. I can’t wait to try this! I have a short neck, & I always contour, so I’m going to try it ASAP. Thank you so much! ✨💖✨
You are so welcome Liz. I hope it works well for you
Just found you! Love the video. You are beautiful.
well hello there Leandra, what a pretty name.
I'm so glad it was helpful Kate
@@MrsMelissaM And in case you hadn’t heard it yet today, you are a total ROCKSTAR. 🤩
I just found you, really enjoyed the video. Hugs from Oklahoma
Hi how're you doing
There is not enough contouring I can do to cover my double chin lol 😂
I am so glad I've found your video, beautifully explained. Thankyou❤
Damn girl, 2 mins in and still not to the point.
More like 3 1/2 minutes. This wasnt too long after I started. We learn as we go right?
this is absolutely the best contouring tutorial on the internet! thanks so much!
Oh wow! Thank you so much Lynette. You have no idea what that means to me. xo😘
Yes! Finally a helpful detailed contouring video for those of us with a round face! I can do this! Thank you!
hi Marissa, yay! so glad it was helpful. Let me know how it turns out okay? I'd love to hear! xoxo
Finally someone who shows what to do properly...ty
I'm so happy you liked it Julie
I am crying. Thank You. So simple to contour. To loose the round face. 😊
I really enjoyed your personality shining through in this video. You are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Sally. You're so sweet. 💜💜💜
Thank you so much for sharing! You are gorgeous! I love that you look so natural. I'm 55 and overweight and also have fibro. My confidence has taken a hit, but I'm looking forward to trying this.
I bet it's gonna look beautiful on you! I'd love to hear your thoughts Amanda!
You don’t talk to much! Your talking helps keep me entertained! I enjoy listening to you! Don’t listen to the haters! 😊
Thanks so much!
Thank you a million times over. I have never heard anyone explain contouring better. Finally at my age I can master this art. More videos please!
Hi Yvonne, I'm so so glad that you found it helpful. You will have to update me and tell me how it worked for you. I'd love to hear. Hugs lady xoxo
Welcome onboard new friend! Thanks so much for that kind comment about how long it takes to complete a video! They are labors of love!
Hi Mrs. 💘💖💘 Love ya, Jo-Ann
oh my goodness Jo-Ann, hearing that it gave you hope, is the best compliment ever. Thank you and love you too xoxo
@@MrsMelissaM Now I'm more than just hopeful, I have been doing it ever since and wow it sure does make a difference! Slims out my face and under my chin not nearly as noticeable 😍 I even put my picture on Instagram for the first time since my surgery, which I don't normally use, (there's just one photo of me and one of my son on there how funny..)
If you're interested in what I look like after chatting so much, it's under joannrings,, love ya my friend Jo-Ann
She is such a beautiful young lady with such a beautiful spirit! Very helpful thank you for info
awww thank you so much Beverly. And I'm so happy that you found the video helpful! have a wonderful rest of your weekend! xoxo
Thanks so much for making a simple, yet very effective tutorial. You have taken the scary out of contouring!
You're so welcome!
I'm 49 Thank you for the tips for my round face! I never contour or bronze. I didn't even know the difference. Thank you!! 😊
I'm so glad you liked the video Caroline. It makes a huge difference in my makeup!
Thank you for this video! This makes contouring seem a lot less daunting for me! I’m going to give it a try! 💕
I'd love to hear what you think of it if you give it a try Lynne!
That was truly incredible. Thank you so much! I have always carried weight around my face and now that I am over 50, I am also getting the jowls 😕 What an incredible difference on your cheekbones, jawline and especially your neck! That V is incredible. Thanks again - you made my day 💗
I'm so happy you enjoyed it Kari. Please let me know what you think of it if you try it.
I have a really round face so I appreciate this!
Where I get mixed up is rubbing in then it looks muddy.
Thanks Jennifer 🌹 🌺
Yes Jennifer, that can get that way, but remember that the shade that you chose should look a little "muddy" otherwise it won't create a shadow. And if you feel like it's getting muddy down the cheek, position your brush so that it's just above the contour on the cheeks, then blend, and if it's for the forehead then use downward motions from the hairline towards the brows. I hope that might help a little. xoxo
What a WONDERFUL DESK!!!!
Thank you Jody. It was a rare find on Craigslist years ago.
Hi there Cheryl. I'm so happy you enjoyed the video. And thank you for subscribing. I'm super happy you're here! Welcome my new friend!

Spectacular ! Within 15 minutes you gave me all the tricks that I need to know ! Thanks
So glad it was helpful! Yay!
You look fabulous. I contour occasionally, but I always fear that I look like I have too much going on in the cheek area, though I blend, blend, blend.
