The reason why the buttons can sometimes get stuck when pressing down is because the tolerances during assembly is too big. There is a huge variation in the switches' locations on the PCB. When the button switch is soldered off centered onto the PCB in relation to the hole in the aluminum, it causes the side of the button to scrape the aluminum. In some cases, you can even feel that the face of the button is uneven while at rest. This is because one side of the button is being pushed against by the aluminum housing. I've handled multiple Ascher Artura wheels and it seems that it's quite common. There's almost always one or two buttons that are like this.
I use shifters and everything but I intentionally went with fanatec podium hub. i like the look and the wheels is closer to me so it's all fits my needs. But yea the adaptors are a possibility
Yes, it’s a little heavy compared to other wheels without a display, but it’s a very well balanced wheel. In fact I had to turn down my FFB when I switched from CSX3 .
Yea I considered that (and other emulators) but didn't want to mix more brands. Also what looks better is subjective tbh ;) I like the podium hub design and color.
Great video. This wheel seems almost perfect, but I'm hesitant about ordering it. The grips seem quite thin. I have large hands and some grips - like the ones in Fanatec Formula wheels - just kill my hands. Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated. Thanks.
I know what you mean. It is slightly thicker than fanatec but not as thick as GSI. In between . I have already done quite some hours with it and to me this is the perfect size. Ofc that's subjective
Nope. As Fanatec is proprietary (still) you connect the coiled USB cable directly to your PC. And use Simhub. I've been running wirelessly for years. And my conclusion after the first week with cable is that I don't even notice it.
Thank you for the quality video. Well made and informative. It was a massive help for me to do the same update without headaches.
Best looking dials...way better than round ones!
Love the red and gold combo. Stunning.

1600 eur less rich but 10% more happy. I've just pressed the button and now waiting :DDD
100% more happy!
If you aren't using shifters etc I think the SRM adaptor gives a cleaner look and it's thinner.

Very nice wheel! The whole rig looks great
The QR2 Leoxz Core is a better Solution for this .Its smaler cheaper and looks better without the large Podium Hub to have direct the QR2

The Leoxz is 1:1 QR2 Pro with inside Emulator .It emulates Formula Carbon like SRM
nice video, very helpful
Thx

Nice video ! the wheel connect wirelessly to the PC ?

Why did you connect the USB from the wheel to your computer and not to the Fanatec Hub ?
Wow
