When will these people ever learn that two 10 tonne spring packs bolted on to a standard 6.5 tonne Bedford front axle allow them to carry such crazy weights. Little wonder that so many accidents we see on RUclips in that country are a result of broken axles and structural failures due to overloaded trucks. Crazy crazy.
I think I understand what you are saying, with so many axles breaking there. Must be a resan, The springs are not designed for that truck,? In my opinion , especially the rear, I've never seen a rear spring broken yet, So the axle will break first ,?
I’m impressed. Think of all the paperwork they avoided doing a roadside repair. No police report or accident investigation, no insurance claim, nobody got fired, heck the truck probably needed front-end work anyways. Off we go!
Well, said. Same goes for the road repairs which are caused by overloaded trucks, which cause breakages which lead to the repairs, which keep the trucks going, which keep the roads breaking again, which keep the trucks breaking again. Off we go! Love it. And this is effiecient, low cost and very productive. Unlike European and Californian law makers which ban small motorbikes and allow giant CO2 generating EVs (vis charging) and V8 trucks
@@mebeasensei I am guessing you didn't live in the CA smog of the 90s. EVs are more efficient even when fossil fuels are used for the power. The idea that EVs are bad is oil company propaganda. They kept EV tech down for decades by strictly controlling the battery and electric motor industries. Leading to tens of billions in profit. When fuel is burned in a power plant more pollutants can be filtered and removed than in a car or truck. Consider this, when we burn fuel, any fuel. In a vehicle we are only using the mechanical energy of that fuel. The thermal energy is wasted, expelled by the cooling system. In a power plant, that fuels mechanical and thermal energy can be used to generate electricity. Nearly all that fuels energy can be harnessed. Used to power EVs and everything else. EVs also are extremely efficient in the use of the energy they take in. Efficiency is the name of the game in the modern world.
@@boomer150A good thing about EV is that you carry a huge heavy battery around with you even when it is almost empty of charge. Disposal and recycling of the battery is also hugely and scandalously hidden from the public eye. I read a study and said it takes 70,000km to break C02 even from an EV , but that is before you realise that the electricity to charge the batteries come from dubious sources like fossil, nuclear and solar...
@@mebeasensei Because disposing of old cars is totally not damaging to the environment. Enormous junkyards filled with old cars rusting into dust. Leaking oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze and fuel into the ground as the hoses deteriorate. Giant hunks of metal, old engines that are totally useless, unless you need a boat anchor. Old EV batteries can be repurposed, I just read about a new tech that can extract the lithium from old batteries to be reused into new ones. Even if a battery starts to lose it's usability as an EV battery. They can still be used for energy storage. Off grid home energy storage. An EV battery fully charged can power a home for 2-3 days in the event of a power failure.
Just imagine how many risk assessments, sets of temporary traffic lights, advance warning signs, road cones, safety inspectors, banksmen, hard hats, safety boots and sets of hi-vis clothing would have been needed to do this job in England! There again, I don't suppose that the lorry would have been so over loaded. Love the aerodynamic streamlining additions to the top and front of the cab!
Owww, they cheating here using a crane! This crew musta bin watchin fast'n'loud or wheelerdealer to see how to use modern gear to make the job easier, proper Pakistan Roadside repairs do it all with jacks and manpower!
All that time driving extremely overloaded, too fast and absolutely no maintenance has finally caught up with him this time. Notice the completely bald spare tyre. Glad he was not injured

If this was in australia, they would have thirty fat traffic controllers standing watching ten police, three cranes six doggies, and two semi’s waiting to tow the truck away, the whole road shut down and barricaded off,at east. Lol.
its funny how in foreign countries they kind of say some things backwards. this clickbait should read, axle and wheel broken due to overloading causing most dangerous truck accident. when will they learn to just weld the axle to the frame and get rid of all those things that break? i see lots of black heart responses to these comments. 🇧🇷
My thinking it would have been better to hoist the back wheels onto the road first would have been much more stable then swivel the front . Would certainly help if you didn't have every blowfly in Pakistan deciding to rubberneck the whole operation .
These are the stupidest trucks in the world, with their seriously reduced side visibility and dumb decorative front extensions that serve no purpose, other than the ego's of its owners.
Amazing people, can fix anything. I wish the west could help them with better tools, better gear to fix things with, when considering they are trying to go all electric here for the environment. These trucks are from the 60's, there's no adding blue to these old trucks. Why does the west allow this pollution to continue. We know why because it is all BS
I’m fascinated by the speed and efficiency of recovering the truck from its present site to more convenient location so work to restore the truck to road worthiness can begin almost immediately the obvious calamity bypassing the conventional paperwork of sophistical financial argument and official documentation to which none of that irrefutable information is necessary or questionable because the intention is to restore the vehicle to its intended purpose as quickly as practicable and reasonably feasibility report may be obtained on a case of necessity or interested parties 🎊 😊😊😊😊😊
I this the same one i saw them weld the leaf spring on in another video, not surprised, if they only had spares at a reasonable price or could manufacture their own parts they would not put lives at risk, but it is really all down to the roads that are barely roads but deathtraps with huge potholes.
Good old Bedfor six cylinder diesel lorry. Once these were manufactured by Hind Motors under license from Bedford. Seen all these lorries rushing through the dirt roads of India in early sixties. This lorry shown here is converted to multi axle one. The lorry in original form was good for Indian roads at that time though its chassis used to crack either due to overload or due to poor quality of steel. Time has taken its toll as no improvement was done and it lost its glory and business in India replaced by superior Tata and Leyland lorries and buses.

There's power lines pretty close and over the wreck. Maybe we'll be lucky and get some fireworks!

When will they ever learn not to grossly overload these trucks far beyond their rated capacity ?
Most likely never. Savages stay savages, poor stay poor for reason, here is example
When will they ever learn to halt corruption and the caste system so they can have nice things - such as an _effective_ Department of Transportation?
