Dure and bilal did phenomenal. Their chemistry is on another level and no doubt just coz of them this drama is a big hit !! They both deserve all the love and successs ♥️

I think Bilal should be given due credit . He deserves more appreciation from the writer. He has lion share in the sucess of Ishq murshid. No one orther than Bilal could have done justice to this character. Writer's first choice was Hamza Ali Abassi. He could hv been successful as Shahmeer. But imagine can he play the role of Fazal Buksh....?? He can not portray such cute, spontaneous and innocent character of Fazal Buksh with his stone face impression. This charecter does not suit his personality.Bilal has proven in his previous performance that when he performs he "put on" the role. We do not find Bilal anymore, he totally transforms himself into the character, what he did in Ishq murshid as Fazal Buksh. Alongside the OST of drama Bilal's performance is the main reason of the huge success of the Ishq Murshid.
after all the weight loss, Hamza has lost his charm too. I just want to get him admitted in a hospital and put him on IV.❤

To be honest that plot has so many loop holes and writing was really weak, it doesn't even has that sort of punchlines which Hamza Ali Abbasi choses. But Bilal made it so big with his soulful acting. The charm he put in Fazal Bakhsh's character is unforgettable on the other hand his expressions and power show as shahmeer is so appealing to eyes. Ishq Murshid was long gone under the rug if it wasn't for Bilal and Durre chemistry

Same here but having known Bilal 's body of work. He's the most selfless person ever, he's a silent magician, comes, does his craft & leaves. Other people would've grabbed this opportunity & bashed about the success of their show everywhere. But Bilal is not like them he's grounded & keeps low profile & allows his work to speak...
From what I've seen he gives very less interviews & in each one of them he always says that he's an introvert in general & He doesn't really gives personally fixed interviews, only when the production house of the show or movie demands or fix his interviews..
No doubt that the writer sounded really calm and composed after whatever changes were made to his script!! But somehow I felt he didn’t give enough credit to Bilal Abbas who single handedly carried the show on his shoulders!! Bilal literally went out of the box to show his full potential!! But here you see the writer is more appreciative of Durre and Faroq rind instead of giving credit to the person who literally owned the show!!
Tbh dure performances were below average not Impactful for many people as viewers throughout this drama but yes Bilal was phenomenal the credit only goes to him not anyone else

The vision with what he wrote the drama is so pure and full of clarity and wisdom and meaning.
The director totally messed it up with lack of creative coordination and proper execution.
But Bilal totally nailed it. He was the best choice for it.
Self obsessed writer, didn't praise Bilal for his exceptional performance since it is only Bilal who pulled up the drama wholely by acting cute (Fazal Bakhsh) and Intellect (Shahmeer).
The writer wants shahmeer as an alpha male but Director keeps his persona positively so that people could love him otherwise people will bash out that He is a villain in real but act cute in front of Shibra.
Farooq Rind missed some important scenes but he did the right to picturize drama light hearted otherwise it would be highly toxic because of more aggressive and preachy female lead and alpha male lead and viewers could not have been connected with romantic scenes.
If both characters would be aggressive in nature so how would they make romance with their innocent eyes??

It’s the directors and editors fault that ruined the drama. Instead of unnecessary Bhallay scenes, the scenes that were detrimental to the script should have been included.
We still love ishq murshid.it is not dragged....plz dur e and bilal ko interview chaiye.
I think the big revelation scene was done in a right way by the director (if it's his take). Shahmeer was not in a position to tell his true identity to shibra in bold manner like the way writer described it. How can a man confront someone when he is actually cheating? He has to take things in soft and subtle manner and that's what director did. I liked the way how director treated this whole scenario. He showed this in more realistic manner.
I aslo think that.director ne shameer jo soft hearted dikhane ke khosis ki.on the other hand writer ne uska kirdar thora angry, arrogant type likha....
But Shibra getting out the car at graveyard with suited Shahmeer makes absolutely no sense either. A little dialogue at Gareeb ki Chai leading to that scene could’ve been better.

Like many others who've shared their thoughts, I also feel that Bilal was not given enough credit during the interview. His performance merits greater appreciation, as it has played a significant role in elevating the drama to its current stature. Bilal, through his portrayal, managed to captivate us and draw us into the story, leaving us with a lasting impression of the character. Plus the chemistry between the leads further enhanced the drama's appeal.
Farooq rind nay drama ko lighter mood dainay ke koshih ki hai. Writer nay bataya hai k fuzal buksh aur shibra ka character hyper likha gaya tha jubka jo samnay aaya hai wo bohat cute hai aur isi wajah say ye drama super duper hit hua hai.😊😊

She’s a very average actor and certain scenes which were the climax point weren’t performed by her at all in the way expected. Scenes were underwhelming and that’s because Dure isn’t a good actor. She has a lot to improve and this entire show was running on Bilal and his acting. Chemistry wasn’t the leading factor in this drama. People watched for Bilal not the chemistry of the actors.

I agree that some scenes are jumpy but frankly speaking the revelation scene written was a bit filmy and the one which was shown, despite it being not detailed, seemed more natural. Even shahmeer's character looked aggressive in the written matter (which we have already seen in recent dramas), the actual portrayal is little better I feel. Shahmeer is shrewd, intelligent, adorable and passive aggressive, which makes him a standout in general drama protagonists.

I think the drama would not be hit if it wasn't for Farooq Rind. Pyaar ke Sadqay is also one of my favorites and I have watched it 3 times

This was such an important interview... We have so many misses here... Feeling bad for the way the writer was not taken seriously and director came in to ruin things... But I am fan of the way Abdul Khaliq Khan writes and conceives his story... His thought process while writing is very interesting. A complete fan of his writing.

I loved how people in the comments are putting Bilal up again and again. I am a fan of Bilal from, Pyar k Sadqay. I don’t understand, why actors, writers, journalists do not give enough credit to Bilal Abbas Khan.
Despite so many flaws in the direction, Bilal Abbas aced the roles of Fazal Baksh and Shahmeer. He brought a smile to our faces every weekend. The chemistry between him and Dur e Fishan was awesome. The OST was incredible. Due to these factors one can forget about the flaws. It was a beautiful drama.
One only hopes that in the future episodes, Mehreen and her father don’t mess up all the hard work done by the protagonist to create a happy life for himself….that would be so avoidable! It is a rom-com. Let it end well.

As everybody has been praising Bilal since the start of drama and saying that script is weak. so Writer thought he should justify his writing. Fair enough. But despite all the things that writer mentioned, it's still Bilal's performance that could carry and is still carrying the show. Wahaj and Hamza couldn't play this role. They have limited range. Yes, Ahad could play it but Sindhi accent could have been a problem for him. Anyways no point in discussing other actors when Bilal has given the best performance.

Hassan is very skilled in taking interviews and asks / pursues his questions until he gets what he is looking for. I really like his style because he stays neutral and asks in a way that it doesn’t appear too critical but infact it is. This is a very difficult job and he does it really well. 🎉

The director shouldn’t have messed with the important parts of the script. The drama lost it’s impact when it had many jumps and eventually it stopped making sense. You can see it in the views and it not being in trending anymore. The scenes and dialogues the writer is describing seems very interesting ,which would have made it more encaptivating. It’s sad how it is now.

It's 99% Bilal Abbas acting that it is a blockbuster drama. The story has many loopholes. the writer is happy with the director and the ratings. He has the power of penmanship but still does not accept the responsibility for it.
If the drama would have been shot according to the script, it could have made a bigger impact! A request to Abdul Khaliq sir, please release the script as a book. I have seen his Kafir on Zindagi TV as Izzat(renamed here). A fan from India🌻
Kafir was true to the script and I still remember some of the dialogues Humayun Saeed said. It was a very powerful drama.

This writer is contradicting his own statements. First, he said that ky story jo hoti hai wo dil se ani chahie islye kam likhta hon. Next, when asked about why you have written muhabat tujhy alvida, he said ky mujhy laga logon ko achi lagy gi rating ai gi aur wohi hoa. And even when asked about how satisfied he is with the performances of bilal & dure, he only said ky rating aa rahi hai na bs. His whole entire focus is rating and success then why is he saying ky kahani tb likhta hon jb dil se likhni ho. He only writes whatever he thinks will get the audience and not because he strongly feels about the story.
I wish they had kept the writer’s scenes as he had envisioned and the story would have been much more impactful. With all the flaws,IM is a blockbuster because of Bilal and Dure’s Chemistry and their unbelievable performance. Hasan, please interview Dure and Bilal together.

Sir is right about actors criticism. Dure bilal chemistry their lines scene in spite of jumps scenes ❤are what people liked. It would b best if it should b shown as khaliq sb told.

Classic writer . We want to see more of your work craft. You did sensibly write no overacting. Example when she knows who he was making a melodrama taking few episodes convincing her. But this was shown normal way .

Rind should understand which scenes are the highlight, what will make audience jump off their seats and refrained from adding unnecessary bhalley scenes. He failed to understand that it's a love story aur thoda dramatic karne se kuch nahi hota.

I am gonna defend director on the REVEAL scene. Because the writer's vision was very aggressive. We see shahmeer as a different person with shibra. If his vision had happened the love shibra felt for him would have replaced with instant hate even Suki's testimony wouldn't have saved him..
Shibra's reaction wouldn't have suited the writer's reveal.
Shahmeer is very gentle with shibra.

I Agree 100% . The reason Ishq Murshid is so good is bcoz both Bilal and Dure are so calm and peaceful
No drama, no intense crying, no arguments .. just feelings and aesthetics and cute conversations. It's like they understand each other without talking and no big moments are needed.
I love it and I love Farooq Rind dramas. Also Pyar ke Sadqay.
People who want bumper stories with intense moments and reveals should watch Tere Bin (which I don't like at all bcoz of all the fights and shouting )
