    Cool stuff. A phd student at our lab used electrical capacitance tomography to determine the vapor fraction in an opaque pipe of refrigerant. Sucessive images over time would approximate the fluid-vapor interface. Similar math to reconstruct images from a dozen or so simple capacitive plates.
