Thats awesome that you are living like this. Im over the road truck driver and me and the wife live on the road most the time. When we are not in this truck we are off gridin our holiday rambler.
My suggestion is to put in some triangled braces at top corners and bottom corners of the trailer, inside. You could put some in places where they'd not be too interfering perhaps. Easiest is at the roof side, but on bottom could have between cabinets, etc. This would help stop swaying in high winds, and maybe when traveling on road too. I've used metal electrical conduit pipe in past for that, with ends hammered flat, then bent 45 degrees on end, hole drilled to put lag screws or bolt and nut through. However there are better options available. I'll put a link to one which might suit you better in a reply to this post, since around youtube some links seem to kill a post.
Hi Seven. Windy season for sure. Howling here in CO the last few days. Fortunately no fires! Interesting progress on your trailer. Your sink looks very similar to the smaller one (deep 15 x 15) I had put in my van. Sad news--I sold the van, because of Liz' health unlikely to be able to travel in any substantive manner. The van has moved to Montana with a happy new owner. Be well, and enjoy the desert!
great to hear from you and happy no fires there this year. sorry to hear about the van but guess that makes sense. hoping to get out to colorado again this summer and maybe we can connect again
Have you ever had a topper? The are very restrictive, not easy to access the back as we age and become less flexible. Drawers would be an expensive alternative. If the back is armour coated, bad. Shouldn't you finish the walls before adding more builds?
Good to see a video, Seven. The rainstorms are clearing out of So Cal today. Probably why you have insane winds in Southern Arizona. Looks like we will have wind tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up as I will put away anything that the wind might blow away. Glad you found your possessions.
Good to see you Seven, glad your healing up well ,man that wind is crazy out there maybe wind power to charge batts, thanks for sharing ,big hugs from MN
Those tiny little stabilizer stands on each corner of the trailer will keep it from moving while you walk from end to end or side to side. They won't help with the wind rocking it around (as you already know). It's a high profile vehicle so if it's parked, you'll need some kind of ground anchors (guy wires??) attached to each top corner, at 45 degrees out. Just like you anchor down a tent, anchor your home down from the wind. Mobile homes are anchored down, why not yours? Ahhh, mobility issues, I see. Setting up & tearing down frequently. What can you do? Give or take.🤷
As always an awesome video it is nice to know that you are feeling better. I hope your new systems work just as you want them to Have a Merry Christmas If you believe in that and I hope your new year is a whole lot better than the last Thank you again for wonderful videos.
great question. this month I've been trying to get a passport renewed and research ways to get arizona residency. I've made several trips to Arizona DMV with questions, setting up postal service here, trying to get meds, setting up primary health care, researching health plans for 2023. lots and lots of research all while working on my lithium batteries. just seems I'm always busy with stuff which often is not related to the build
How about an update on your Florida rental properties? We've had 2 pretty good hurricanes this year and I've been wondering if your properties took a hit
I guess I'm wondering why the wind is so strong... maybe climate change? someone mentioned monsoons but there was no rain. haven't seen wind like this since I lived in Wyoming
Deisel heaters don't have any flame / pilot to blow out ! They have glow plugs that are heated up by the current of the 12 volt DC input.
Thanks for the update Seven! Sound is just fine for me.

Search on "foot long heavy duty angle braces" to find what you need.
the links were killed for some reason.

What a storm! Wow. The sink setup looks great & centered between the Berkey and coffee maker seems perfect. Wind in the desert is certainly powerful!

Awesome to see you. Yeah the topper is the way to go awesome later buddy 🛠️🇨🇦🛠️🇨🇦
wonder where I got that idea ;)

Seven, why buy a Cargo trailer, when you can simply purchase a used, quality Camper Trailer thats already kitted out?
Great video
Glad you are well.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.

hmm... I had toyed w the idea of putting eye bolts in all the top corners and running cable down to ground stakes much like a tent as you mention

After watching a number of your videos, my comment is hire people to do things before you hurt yourself. Rodney Dangerfield 2.0
What do you mean "How did this happen?" You know it was the wind.
