It’s March of 2020 and I am still tearing up over this. My Grandfather came to Chicago from Italy in 1909, lived his whole life and never saw the Cub’s win a series. My Dad lived his entire life and never saw the Cubs win a series. I am so blessed to have witnessed this moment. BTW, the rain delay was the tears of Cubs fans falling from Heaven.
It’s Feb. 2018, and I’m still tearing up when I watch this. I’ve been a Cubs fan since I was a kid and started going to Wrigley Field in ‘87; seeing the Cubs finally win it all was unreal. Let’s get another ring, guys! #FlyTheW #ThatsCub
its August 2019, I still cry over this. Tears of happiness. Greatest World Series in my lifetime. I was never so happy to see this historic World Series. Go Cubs Go!!!
January 2020, over three years later, and all it takes it the videos of fans reacting to make me cry like a baby thinking about celebrating with my dad. Truly a unique experience that not all people got to live through
Greatest moment in sports history. I cry every single time I watch this video. It been well over a year. As the years go by I will always remember that day. That day will be in Chicago cubs hearts 4 ever. A day in infinite.
I recently lost my parents just 4 years apart. It was a great feeling that they had a chance to watch this moment before leaving this world. Especially for my mom after finishing the mortgage that she helped me refinanced in 2003.🙏🏼🙏🏼
It's been said you can never ever script October (or November if needed). This is one of those reasons. This will be remembered as one of the greatest sports stories for years to come.
August 18th 2018, think I can watch this video without tearing up but as soon as “go cubs go” starts playing at the end there it all the emotion comes back
I absolutely love this video. I haven't watched it in a long time and here I am crying while I watch it. LOL. As a die hard Cubs fan that was so awesome, but I think every Cubs fan was emotional when this happened because it made them think about family members who didn't live to see them win it all. And after all of the bullshit people have been through over the last few years, seeing footage of people celebrating together in the streets makes me very happy. Pure joy. Not a worry in the world. That's what life should be all about. What an amazing time to be a Cubs fan. Remember the 2016 Cubbies!
I’m a lifelong White Sox fan from the North side. I was ecstatic in 2005 and hoped that my Cubs fans family & friends could get the same feeling I had (unless it was a White Sox/Cubs series...like THAT’LL ever happen). This is the BEST tribute videos I’ve ever seen. So well made, action matched up to the music (perfect choice, btw) and perfect in building up hope, worrying when Cleveland tied it up, BUILDING THAT HOPE AGAIN until boom...BOOM...it happened. Kudos to you, Ray Laska; you’re an artist. Congratulations, as well ✌🏻
Ray, I've watched this many, many times since November and it hits me like a ton of bricks every time. By far the best post-championship highlights video. Thank you.
cheny boi dude I watched it live I commented that because it was so dramatic and climactic that it could've been straight out of a movie. You've got to be the stupidest fucker alive to think I was being literal.
As powerful as all the moments you remember watching, there's just such an unbelievable feeling you get when you hear it. "The longest drought in the history of American sport....IS OVER!" Not to mention, paired up with this score is.....is....I have no words to describe what I feel in my heart when that last out happens. I don't know what I see more. This actual moment, or the touchdown moment in Titans. The editing here of all that coming down to that last moment with score is just simply amazing!!!!
Cm Coluch if you went into a coma ten years ago and you just wake up and someone told you that the cubs won the World Series and Donald trump is president would you believe them I wouldn't
I caught the tail end of this game last year. I remember yelling downstairs to my parents that the cubs won the series, and being really excited for them. The thing is I'm not even a baseball fan or live in Chicago.
I have a few things to say: 1. You 12 idiots (at the time of this comment) do not know what the hell you are talking about by not liking this video. You must be Cleveland Fans. 2. How the heck has this video only gotten 87,623 views? @Ray Laska, you are a genius of video splicing and music cues were spot on! 3. I cry every.single.time. I watch this video. It will NEVER get OLD! 4. GO CUBS GO!!!
Take that all you Cub haters...I'm not a big fan but it was great for baseball...now this year...noone is stopping the Astros..Houston finally wins something...boy has that been a long drought...
Not for Chapman which we Yankees, literally left him under your July Christmas tree...Lloll....with like to and from....Lloll.....on the post card in a birth day envelope. You guys would of prob not made it. But then? Who I'm I too talk cause...Yankees picked up tons of mid season gifts, through our run.
ray bon ya you're right... and if it weren't for chapman maybe, just maybe... the game wouldn't have gone into extra innings because of a game tying homerun
There will never be a team like this again! I can't help but tear up every time I watch!
Wish I loved a sports team as much as Cubs fans.
Before we reach for hate, always, always, we remember the 2016 Chicago Cubs
Before we reach for hate, always, always, we Remember The Titans.

As a Cubs fan from outside of Chicago I actually cried a little when they won the World Series
I tear up everytime I watch this video too
That was the greatest and most scariest day in the last 108 year of Cubs history but we did it and it is the best felling in the world #flythewforlife
Best part was they waited 108 years to win a World Series and now the curse has bin lifted and the cubs are always be the champions

1 year later, I'm back here watching this with the same emotion!

Billythewizzard Soon Very Soon
I don't think the Cubs are going to repeat, it's just a feeling I have even though I'm a Pirates fan.
Noone is beating Houston...
lindy frank I think dodgers will murder them... nobody is beating the dodgers
Well right now, NOBODY is beating the Tribe.
This needs to be made into a movie. It’s just beautiful.... 😭
Joe Maddon is a Hall of Famer in my book!
I recently lost my parents just 4 years apart. It was a great feeling that they had a chance to watch this moment before leaving this world. Especially for my mom after finishing the mortgage that she helped me refinanced in 2003.🙏🏼🙏🏼

Throwback to the good old days 🥺
Video popped up on RUclips before work, lil teary eyed this morning.

The Cubs danced their way into history and the perfect season. World Series champions.

this game was straight out of a movie
Luke Means boy no it wasn't you just not a true fan if you think that then don't comment
cheny boi dude I watched it live I commented that because it was so dramatic and climactic that it could've been straight out of a movie. You've got to be the stupidest fucker alive to think I was being literal.
The entire series was pretty much based out of a movie...
Like the "Rudy" moment with David Ross.
DEADLOK69 same
Cry - every single time - Still
Still feels like a dream every time I watch it
Amazing, just amazing
Absolutely amazing video! I love this.....
The Best team of baseball... Only Emotions...
Who’s watching this after the Counsell signing!? GO CUBS GO
Super awesome using the remember the titans theme best song around.

Still makes me cry!
And they'll always remember the day when the Cubs won the World Series! Holy Cow!
As a long time cubs fan and it being a year since this has happened I can't help but cry
tears in my eyes every time i see this, i will never forget this or where i was
Yankee fan. Sometimes the journey is better than the destination.
We all looked at the sky that night and held our heads high
Still brings tears!!
I will forever remember everything about that night. It was worth every emotion. #FaithJustified #FlytheW
1:45 the saddest moment in the history of sports. 3:14 the biggest tear jerker in the history of sports.
I'm still having a hard time believing this was real.
Cm Coluch if you went into a coma ten years ago and you just wake up and someone told you that the cubs won the World Series and Donald trump is president would you believe them
I wouldn't
I watched it live was there partied in front of Wrigley.....and it still feels like a dream
Same I was like what just happened last night when I woke up...
chills and tears
I'll never forget that moment
Played this at my dad's grave site. He took me to my first Cubs game at Wrigley in 1956.
Someday soon Davis, Madrigal, Hoerner, Hernandez, and Alcantara will be raising that trophy.
Oh my goodness, I’m crying.
I caught the tail end of this game last year. I remember yelling downstairs to my parents that the cubs won the series, and being really excited for them. The thing is I'm not even a baseball fan or live in Chicago.
Cant stop watching
We need the HD version back
really want this in higher definition.
Its August 2019 and im still emotional ABOUT this game that night
Still emotional ever time I see the cubs get that final out
This is when the timelines diverged
As soon as it shows the girl who is crying out her face in her hands i absolutely lose it
For those that understand no explanation is necessary for those that don't no explanation is possible.
What a time to be alive
Wao Wao wao wao🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
