I basically had the same kinda reaction to Mario & Luigi Brothership that you guys had to MvC. M&L is legitimately my favorite RPG series and after AlphaDream went under, its future was increasingly uncertain. So to see the series alive and well, in beautiful HD, OPENING A DIRECT??? Oh yeah, to say that I freaked would be a HUGE understatement. I can't BELIEVE that I get a new Mario & Luigi AND a Sonic Generations port featuring an Ian Flynn-penned Shadow campaign in the same year! I am gonna be eating GOOD this holiday.
As for the MvC Collection itself, it's crazy to think that it's dropping the same year as the DC vs. Marvel Omnibuses. Guess Marvel randomly decided that 2024 would be THE year for legit miracle crossover collections. I can't play traditional button-combo arcade fighters to save my life, but I'm absolutely still buying this and looking forward to playing a lot of these older games for the first time. (I've only ever briefly dabbled in the Dreamcast versions of MvC 1 and 2.)
Really excited about the TMNT Adventures Compendiums! I already own all of IDW's trades, but the specials and minis actually being included in these hardcovers (not to mention everything being presented in suggested reading order) definitely gives me reason to double-dip! Hopefully, they'll also include every issue of Mutanimals as well as the chunk of TMNT Adventures itself that they skipped in the trades just because of a single panel. (Said panel featured a depiction of Muhammad. Here's hoping that they'll simply edit or omit the page this time around rather than gut an entire storyline.)
I adore just how SPOT-ON Super7's TMNT 2k3 figures look. FINALLY figures based on my favorite Turtles cartoon that ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE THEY DO IN THE SHOW! The extra heads don't really entice me enough to pony up cash upfront (maybe if Leo's was a more stoic/serious face), but I'm DEFINITELY gonna grab them eventually. Hopefully they'll do super well so we can get Shredder! (That design is WAY too cool to not have a modern figure of it available.)
Speaking on the proposal for a MOTU Mini-Comics Collection Volume 2, I'd LOVE it if Dark Horse took the initiative and included all the Turtles of Grayskull mini-comics in the trade for the upcoming mini-series. It'd certainly save me the trouble of having to buy one figure from every wave and risk getting the international textless versions.

I’m excited for Prodigy. Not excited about all 20 episodes dropping at once. There is no way I’ll be able to binge more than a couple episodes on day 1 and you KNOW all the spoilers will be flying free on Trek Twitter within 48 hours. Alas… I’m just glad season 2 happened.
