18:44 W was phenomenal, loved the decade crossover movies , and last one I saw in high school before o got busy with college corses Fuuto pi love it for continuity callbacks and references to the show even had Kamen Rider Sky cameo in one scene 😅😅😅💚💜
Kamen Rider for newcomers ! This is a good topic imo and subtle mention to the Fuuto pi anime aka Kamen Rider W in anime form on Crunchyroll last summer
12:56 love Kamen Rider ryuki so much! Also was adapted as Dragon knight in the USA and my re intro to the series properly. Guilty pleasure despite being mixed in the rider fandom .
17:58 Kamen Rider decade aka the Kamen Rider heisei and shows era multiverse ! I saw that back in high school and it was mind blowing but confusing and hated the standard tv ending! 😢😢😢
Though it is out of print, Kamen Rider V3 did have DVDs translated via Generation Kikaida. Might still be able to find them somewhere. Might be notable that after the showa era, the early heisei were all separate until Decade. Post that, they all connect somehow (until reiwa I guess). Some of the bad guys even carry over. Fun video, thanks.
Nice viewing guide! I found it funny you did not recommend Kamen Rider Den-O, because that was my intro to the franchise when it aired in 2007. For me it was a great introduction because it was lighthearted, fun and bright. I liked how Den-O had consistent story's coming out because it was like the Taro brothers were running with me as I continued to look at each new season from that point forward! 🙂
I definitely watched Den-O early in my Rider runs because of them popping up so heavily in Decade. I probably should have recommended it as a starting point for those wanting to watch seasons in order
i found this video after watching Shin Kamen rider. I had seen bits and pieces of other rider stuff but was never sure where to begin your video has helped me out a lot now only if i can find places to watch,
I would kind of recommend these crossover movies in phase 2 as epilogues/prequels. An epilogue for the previous show, and a prequel for the next one, if you’re going in order.
The problem is that isn't how it works what you're describing is Wizard 52 and 53, Drive 48, Ghost 50, Ex-aid Around 41-45, Saber Special Final Chapter, and Revice 50 where we see the next rider right before their show starts, the crossovers usually happen in the teens of Rider seasons, so a decent amount of the season is already lost in the new viewer
Shin Kamen Rider is so so good. Where I started was Kamen Rider OOOs during the pandemic then just sort of picked up whatever looked cool. Kuuga is probably my favorite!
I really enjoyed this, I personally started with Black considering Kamen Rider 71 is very old, long and has references to a dark era of history, and Shocker is literally just stragglers from that dark group, same with Sentai (with the references anyway), anyway Black just feels like a good jumping on point,I started with Flashman since that's when we got 2 mecha for the 1st time, Ultra I started with Tiga it's a brand new beginning and I've enjoyed so far, only up to the woman calling a monster with some whistle, so yes I've already experienced the Halloween episode, PR I just started where it all began Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Another thing to note: Agito's first 20 episodes recieved an English Dub from the same people that did the Spanish dub. It's on Free TV, although whether or not the rest of the series is going to be dubbed is up in the air.
I found a way to watch/enjoy my favorite series (Ex-aid) legally: while visiting Japan last March i found the whole series on official Blu-rays and bought them. Fair warning: this costs alot. $1000 plane ticket to Japan and another $400 for the series. (Idk why home media is so expensive over there). But it's awesome being able to watch them in HD!
just saw shin Kamen rider with a friend with no prior knowledge to kamen rider beforehand and was hooked immediately, wanted more of it, this video really helped alot, thank you aha
Ok great video! I never watched Kamen Rider or even peeped it, but it does seem interesting concept wise and the world aspect of it is really cool! I love everything Japanese too so that helps but I’ll also be honest, as informative this video has been, I still have no idea where to even begin 😂
I'm glad the video was a helpful introduction! Honestly the best place to start is with any show that catches your eye. They all work standalone so just pick one that grabs your attention and go for it!
Den-O was my first Kamen rider, Kiva was great! Decade could've been better. I did finish aW (Double). I saw all of of 01. The Crayon Shin /Den-O was fun.
That's correct. I was referring to how Toei focused on Metal Hero after Rider's hiatus. Essentially Black/RX are secondary to Metal Hero during that era
The only reason why I’m watching the outsiders monthly special, is because my OC, Kamen Rider War Robots, uses repainted suits of the outsider characters as riders, as the foot soldiers of the new rebooted shocker riders.
Firstly, I want to say that most of the "alternate universe' movies that you mentioned are not exactly "alternate universes". Most of them are canon to the certain point of the series, considering that they were made in the middle of their respective series runs (Agito Project G4, Hibiki and the 7 Onis, Kabuto God Speed Love, Kiva King of The Castle of The Demon World, OOO Movie War Core OOO portion, OOO The Shogun and 21 Core Medals, and the entirety of Heisei and Reiwa summer movies...) these are considered loose canons because they actually begin at a certain point of their series setting). You either let them be a loose canon to their respective series or disregard them entirely. Kabuto God Speed Love takes place in the another timeline which slowly led to the starting point of the entire Kabuto tv series. Hibiki and the 7 Onis is prequel to the series, the story feels disconnected to the tv series but the characters are their proper incarnations from hundreds of years before the series starts. As for Cho Den-O movies, they are canon to the tv series and Saraba Den-O and should not be regarded as loose canon or even alternate timeline/universe except for Climax Deka. Both of Ryuuki's movies are alternative endings to the tv series. They have 2 scripts at the time and want to make both endings matter, so we got the TV ending and FINAL ending. 13 Riders special is a TV short film made with viewers poll results in mind, the ending of the TV special is the result of the live poll. Ryuuki's supplements are not considered as AUs but more to options for the viewers. The only known AU movies are Paradise Lost and Blade Missing Ace. Secondly, I would recommend Den-O to newcomers as their first entry, provided that they are exposed to anime tropes and Japanese humors. Nothing would pull new people more into KR besides Den-O, W, OOO, Fourze and Ryuuki. Anyway, this is good video, Keep it up man.
I'd love to consider Gaim as a perfect standalone bubble with no movie viewing necessary, but the golden fruit cup NO SPOILERS has a major unexplained character show up in the last episode

Geats has a lot of terrible writing just like Faiz + I'm gonna make a thread why Geats sucks after episode 24 1- Why the characters don't talk, I mean theres things that wouldn't make sense to talk and the characters are introverts, but gosh 2- Keiwa is a jerk and he is the worst reiwa secondary (Rintaro is still the best) 3- Theres plot point that are clear to interpertacion and I hate Takahashi's writing just like Zero-One since Toei need all need explanation 4-Takahashi is basically like Inoue Shoutout To Geats it makes no sense and Keiwa sucks and I hate him more than Kiriya Kyosuke + Yeah he’s written to be a Horrible Person but that served no purpose for him or the show and he’s pretty much just a bootleg Kusaka due to Faiz's 20th > Geats is The Only Reiwa Series that I dropped midway.

Sorry, what part of Black Sun's ending is hopeful? If you made a video, the link is appreciated.
I just find the whole show depressing
For me, I saw the ending of Black Sun as hopeful because while the problems in its world weren't solved, the major people standing in the way of progress were taken down. So I can see where Black Sun's world can become a better place if the good people continue to fight for it. Not a happy ending, but a hopeful one
@@Soundout12 I get it, just recruiting children and have them make bombs is kinda no for me.
Damn. Generation Kikaida is now closed. Your lack of mentiom of them at V3 made me wonder if they were OoP now so i googled it and saw it.
Its a bummer for sure
@@Soundout12really wish i was able to order the V3 DVD set before they shut down. Would have been able to do if I knew about it
Lol! I loved how Amazons Final Judgement was just too much to hold back any opinion on it. My god that movie was awful! 😂
It really is the worse 🤣
Geats has a lot of terrible writing just like Faiz + I'm gonna make a thread why Geats sucks after episode 24
1- Why the characters don't talk, I mean theres things that wouldn't make sense to talk and the characters are introverts, but gosh
2- Keiwa is a jerk and he is the worst reiwa secondary (Rintaro is still the best)
3- Theres plot point that are clear to interpertacion and I hate Takahashi's writing just like Zero-One since Toei need all need explanation
4-Takahashi is basically like Inoue
Shoutout To Geats it makes no sense and Keiwa sucks and I hate him more than Kiriya Kyosuke + Yeah he’s written to be a Horrible Person but that served no purpose for him or the show and he’s pretty much just a bootleg Kusaka due to Faiz's 20th > Geats is The Only Reiwa Series that I dropped midway.
