But in my spirit of skateboarding I feel anyone can do the impossible.
This is basically good enough to have been a pro part circa 1993. And for that era, a good part at that. However, the standards today are pretty God damned high. My feedback is as follows: 1) Just avoid skating gaps altogether if you aren't doing something really memorable down them. Just doing an ollie down a medium sized gap is no longer worth it for its own sake. A pro or top am wouldn't skate that drop at 0:49 at all because it's just too small. And if they did do it, it would be a switch frontside heelflip or something equally difficult. Look at the stuff Wes Kremer was doing as an amateur. The bar has really been raised these past few years. 2) You have good laser flips. A lot of pros can't do them as well as you, in fact. 3) Skatepark footage isn't always a bad thing but you have to be doing something that's really mind blowing on an obstacle that commands respect. No one ever got laughed at for footage filmed at Burnside or Marseille but that little rinky dink park there just isn't badass enough to make the cut. 4) As a general thought: Style always matters. Look to a guy like Matt Beach for a style role model. Every trick is caught clean and he rolls away with his feet on the bolts. And he does most of his tricks at a really high speed too.
What was good to see about this video was the fact you can tell that the guy really enjoys to skate. He is not wrapped up in filming one trick that takes 3 days to make for a video clip.
Honestly in the last year out of every skate video I've watched from pro's to locals, this has to be one of the best. Love your style, love your energy. Keep it up G

The only acceptable park footage is transition. That’s it. Unless you’re ripping in a bowl or doing some crazy shit on a quarter/halfpipe, then ditch the park footy.

Very good skater with some technical tricks. Thing he needs to work on are adding a trick in while hitting drops. Maybe just a kick flip, little 360, or something. Needs to show if he’s capable of large hand rails too. Other than that pretty clean. Keep up the good work.

Evan Wang I’m no legend of a skateboarder but I can tell you I most likely could make you look silly. I’ve been skating for 25 years and use to live on that thing in my younger days. Back in the days of Skaters Island in RI which I have no clue how many hours and days I’ve ridden there. I would also travel to Woodward just about every summer. He’s looking to get sponsored and this is constructive criticism. You need to be a well rounded skater to get those big sponsors. He is very technical and does have a very good chance of getting sponsored if hasn’t already. However people want to see huge drops and crazy rails too. Advice: Clean up some tricks, they were a little sketchy. No park footage (ik it’s stupid). Don’t do Ollies off stuff. Skate some stairs or drops. And try hitting some handrails. Other than that it was pretty good. You got the tricks and style.
Quique - The Filmer Dude don't listen to him. Do Ollie's but if you do make sure there big gaps. I do Ollie's but we're talking 9ft plus gaps into streets or parking lot to parking lot.
This is decent. You’d probably have a sponsor by next year for sure. Overall it was fairly basic. There were a lot of times when I was expecting a decent flip trick off an obstacle, but it was just an Ollie or a 180 or something too simple. Good style and good street spots besides the park footage. The laser flip was probably the most exciting thing to watch

Advice: Clean up some tricks, they were a little sketchy. No park footage (ik it’s stupid). Don’t do Ollies off stuff. Skate some stairs or drops. And try hitting some handrails. Other than that it was pretty good. You got the tricks and style.

This is decent. You’d probably have a sponsor by next year for sure. Overall it was fairly basic. There were a lot of times when I was expecting a decent flip trick off an obstacle, but it was just an Ollie or a 180 or something too simple. Good style and good street spots besides the park footage. The laser flip was probably the most exciting thing to watch
he could definitely already be sponsored your standards are too high. nothing pro level but he is worthy of any medium sized company. i mean, chris chann is basically just flatground but he's sponsored by adidas.
There is more beyond flat ground behind the scenes. Adidas would not let him ride if all he was was flat ground.
