Recognizing the grief that comes long before a loved one passes is step 1. Then Learning how to give yourself grace, let go of the unearned guilt, and then how to get it all out in healthy ways.

Can you do a talk on how to handle Drs that are always focused on quantity of life even when mom with vascular dementia has been and is still very clear that I'm to feed chocolate, pain meds, and let her go when her body says it's time. No surgeries, to getting tubes, none of it. DNR is done. Drs will freak when it's time to stop all the meds for cholesterol and diabetes.

That sounds like an important topic that would benefit many. We will pass this information on to Dr. Cummings.
