When I see these police men, I remember the words of Colonel By waters of salvation army who worked in Uganda during idi Amin period. Whenever her vehicle passes through the check post she would say "from one army to another one army"
I’ve noticed that The Salvation Army, its General or representative, has not been invited to the Queen's funeral at Westminster Abbey when so many other religious representatives have. Such an omission. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Of you were to check in with the blue light services fire, police,,ambulance and coastguard they would tell you that every time there is a major incident The Salvation Army are there in response to a callout we do not advertise this service and unlike many other agencies you will find us at ground zero beside the fire services support vehicles which are often manned byus. I've lost count of the major incidents I've been involved with over many years but I'm proud of the fact I've been able to serve and support our blue light hero's it's been my honour
God bless our Salvation Army. Love and prayers for all. Love Janet xx
