On this episode of Deer Season 24 we join both Matt Drury and Forrest Bonin in the Show-Me state. Forrest Kicks things off by introducing a legend that has lived on Terry's farm the past 10 years, a deer the guys call The Fat 8. Forrest spends time in this deers core area getting trail cameras out, trimming access trails, and preparing the stands so they will be ready once September arrives! Next, we join Matt Drury on his farm and newly acquired lease as he is brush hogging, putting out some evolve mineral, and hanging cams. Lastly Wade Robinson gives us an update and fills us in on his Victory arrow builds for this coming fall. As always we appreciate the continued support and thank you for watching!

Did they outlaw trailcams in Iowa? I saw a video saying that they did.
I don't believe they did, they did clarify how you can use cell cams though. Make sure and check that out.
It only affected public lands, however, due to the kickback response that the Iowa DNR received they tabled the law for this year and are going to revisit it next year. So as of now, they are still legal. As Matt mentioned too, they did clarify that you cannot view cells cams while actively hunting, public or private land. They deem it as an “electronic aid” in the hunt.
What broad heads are y’all using this year ?
