You can buy pot extenders for mature anthurium like your clarinervium. Essentially just a plastic sheet with some structure you wrap around the stem and fill with substrate, works nice with anthurium since the stem can send out roots into the extension. Nice alternative to hold off on a repot
To increase humidity in your cabinet simply add a couple small humidifiers on top and bottom shelves. I only use them in the winter and turn them on for 1-2min only when i open the cabinet to water them all, and because mine is weather stripped humidity levels stay in the 80-100% range. My anthuriums love it! In the summer i dont even need the humidifiers :) hope this helps
A few months back I got my first anthurium & I was a bit worried I’d kill it but it’s doing really good! I really don’t know how everyone keeps their homes warm with cold weather! I’m in SoCal & literally was just snowing an hour ago! Mostly melting when hitting the cement but staying in the grass & bark shavings. In Idaho we had a wood burning stove.
Becca, I love your videos! I always get so excited seeing you on my feed. Your new anthurium look so gorgeous!
I have heard that for Fl Beauties throwing a couple green leaves in a row is normal! Maybe give it one or two more and I’ll keep my fingers crossed for yours.
I wanted to share my stores that I find so many beautiful pots in! I think TJmaxx would be the only one in your area, but for the south US folks Publix and Bealls Outlet also have so many! 9 bucks for a 6 inch ceramic is the best deal🤩
Thank you Becca, your plants are beautiful.❄️💚🙃
Omg becca!! I'm not even a minute into your video and I'm already getting snacks coz I know it's going to be a good one!😱😁💚
Ahh yay!! Hope you enjoyed :)
Forming berries is a very stressful and energy-intensive process for Anthuriums, that smaller leaf on your clarinervium is definitely because of the berries that are forming. You could help it by cutting off the newest flower and providing a lot of feed but it probably won't give you a decent sized leaf until after those berries are fully formed. It'll be worth it for all the baby clarinerviums though! I'd also recommend waiting to repot it until after those berries are done as small disturbances can cause Anthuriums to abort flowers/ berries and given that clarinervium takes ~a year to ripen berries, it'd be a huge shame!
Hey Becca! For my grow tent I have a container of water that’s full and that helps with the ambient humidity. You could try adding more prop water jars or honestly just a glass of water to see if that’ll keep the humidity up in there. Ilysm 💕😊
Also I think with the Florida beauty you should wait the next leaf comes or to see if it also doesn’t have any variegation and then if it doesn’t then you should cut it back to the last variegated leaf. I know you get scared about chopping your plants but just remember it can be super rewarding and you literally got this plant for the variegation so you might as well. Okay so sorry. I’m clearly commenting as I watch the video.
I have started adding some water props in my cabinet too! Such a great way to add humidity cuz it looks cute and you would have them sitting somewhere anyway🤷🏻♀️
I have 3 Anthurium putting leaves out at the moment, A clarinervium, crystallinum, and forgetii x mag hybrid. It is so crazy how small they start out and then get so much bigger! Love watching your watering videos. I might try added moss to the top of them all, that sounds like a good idea!
Nice job!
Your cabinet looks so nice! There's a local seller making 3D printed handles and I'm going to get a Hoya bloom when she has them ready!
That’s amazing!!!
@@BeccaDeLaPlants and only $25!
Nice greenhouse. Question do you water with Tap water or is there a filter on your faucet?
Tap!
If nothing else, the extra bit of moss on the top of your anthurium pots will at least help new healthy roots to grow and make their way down into the pot!👍 I just spray down the moss in between waterings.. if I have time😬🤷🏻♀️
So true!!!
I have a small apartment so every plant makes a statement, and I’ll be honest.. if plants start to look bad, they’re easily discarded. I watch you bringing that little nub back to life and I’m thinking “I’d never have the patience to do that” 😂I don’t have where to hide ugly looking plants until they look better
Hi, have you ever tried to shade something in your cabinet? I might try that with my fussy crystallinum.
When are you going to finish your greenhouse.??
Try Nema Wel diluted with water
Hey Becca, do you remember at what strength do you mix the sulfur fungicide up for spraying flat mites?❄️💚🙃
I used a tsp for around 24 oz of water! I believe it was that or similar. ☺️
For the Florida beauty, I did hear someone say that giving it lower light will help the variegation come back. I hope this helps.good luck
@@BeccaDeLaPlants Thank you. I just bought some sulfur fungicide and I wanted to get my Hoya sprayed as soon as possible. Thank you again!❄️💚🙃
My favorite place to buy planters is TJ Max. Prices even better than Walmart and more variety. Enjoying all your videos. Thanks!
The t shaped one. Phalcadum, falcatim, what is it please?
I also want to know this!
💚💚
Soooo ikea raised the price of the milsbo 😡
