No matter how good this video may look or sound the show is SO SO SO much better live. If you make it to tokyo you have to see it, no exception. it's only $70. probably was my favorite part after being there 3 weeks.
No... absolutely nothing like Hooters. It's not really a restaurant. There are a couple opportunities during "intermissions" to buy food (mostly snacks), but it's mostly just a really weird show with lots of neon, flashing lights, and loud music set to a Japanese-style acid trip. I have a hard time imagining that the people that put on this show take it seriously and think they're putting on some Broadway worthy production.
Then again, it's not supposed to be a Broadway show or anything like it, is it? "Exactly, with the additional entertainment of the lobby show (mine was a fully mirrored armored guy playing "Time After Time" on a Stratocaster), the fact that the whole showroom is about 80x150 feet with a fairly low ceiling, and that there were more lasers used than I have ever seen in any three shows (I kept hoping they were eye-safe). If you're in Shinjuku and you don't go to this place you wasted your Japan tour. Oh, also: make sure you get your picture in the "big chairs" outside...
Just saw the show today and it was AMAZING! A little different from what was recorded here but still glad I could come here to watch. Wish I could have picked up a show soundtrack to take home though :P
They use modes of transportation that I didn't even think were invented yet in some restaurant. All of these futuristic vehicles just hanging out in a restaurant. WTF
5:29 Is that lady Gaga music......Also at 7:18 remind me of the movie "Reel Steel"......and the other red robot at 14:00 remind me from the movie....😐😐😮😮
