Dear Zachary Trailer

On the evening of Nov. 5, 2001, Dr. Andrew Bagby was murdered in a parking lot in western Pennsylvania. The prime suspect, his ex- girlfriend Dr. Shirley Turner, promptly fled the United States for St. Johns, Newfoundland -- where she announced that she was pregnant with Andrew's child. She named the little boy Zachary. Filmmaker Kurt Kuenne, Andrew's childhood friend, originally began this film as a way for little Zachary to learn about his father -- until Shirley Turner, whom Canada allowed to walk free on bail while awaiting extradition to the United States, took matters into her own hands....

Just watched the doc. Just speechless man. So many craZy fucks walking around on the street. Rest in peace Andrew. You seemed like a really cool, hilarious, and very talented human being and I know your memory lives will live on forever thanks to your friends and family and this DOC.

I'll call it the best documentary film I have ever seen (better than Murderball, Brother's Keeper, Grizzly Man, Touching the Void, The Fog of War, Jesus Camp, etc.). Perfect editing & the story is as compelling as anything you'll ever see or read.

The best worst documentary i have ever watched, if that makes sense. This was gut and heart breaking, because as the viewer you start to go through some of the grief that Kate & David must have been feeling. Plaudits to Kurt, Love to Kate & David. This should be weighing heavy on Justice Gale Walsh conscience, she is mostly to blame for Zachery’s death: the devil in disguise.
