Our stock M1000R only put down 167hp which was a bit shocking to us...hoping its just the stock tune but we'll find out once we get our performance mods done. Help support this project and be entered to win this bike here! www.patreon.com/campisicustoms
Modes: I deselected all the standard modes except RAIN and then you can reselect RACE MODE 1, 2 & 3. Go into them and set up your parameters as desired. I set RM1 as almost the equivalent of ROAD and then set 2 & 3 progressively harder and faster. Once you've dialled them in, which can take a few months of pissing about, then all you have to do is press the MODE button on the bars for the performance setting you require. You can go from gentle riding in a rain storm to mad nutter fast on track with three clicks. Can't get much easier than that, Jaret.
Haha. Yes I did. I mean you adjust the settings bit by bit over time until they're all honed in, and then you can leave them. Might not take months for some. Took me a while to work it all out, though. I've realised I'm not as techy as I thought I was at this age.
I had the same exact exact Ducati Diablo that you showed in the video that was white and black, the carbon edition. I had to replace the clutch slave cylinder, the clutch hydraulic line and the master clutch cylinder trying to fix the problem that I was having. The problem was The clutch kept losing hydraulic pressure and there was never any leaks that we could ever find, actually until the last part I put on the bike which was the master clutch cylinder. I’m a mechanic at the shop. I went to that I had never gone to before figured out that the bleeder was slightly bent or out of place and possibly letting an air air around the threads of the bleeder nipple, I was tired of dealing with the issue so I traded it in and got a BMW or 1250 RS. Just this last summer.
I'm just down the road from you in md and will have to check out this dealership. Your not into the dad bikes but your in the 40's club now and need to check out the bmw k1600 and the 1250rt 😂😂
If you run the bike with a tune that gives more hp at the top, then you risk the motor. The tune optimizes power down low and limits the top on purpose.
Says SAE, which SAE uses a standard for temp, humidity, altitude vs STD. SAE is always lower than STD. I learn this when I use to take my old car to different shops for dynos. Nothing wrong with your numbers. Most videos will be using STD and is why their numbers are always better.
The air supply looks a bit undersized. Would guess the bike is starving for air and kills top end power. 167 is really not much different from the S1000R
Why people over look the proper FEET PROTECTION!!!!!! Is beyond comprehension!!! Without your feet being healthy things get extremely tuff in life!! Get a pair of quality riding Boots Pops!!!!
Taking a big risk putting it through a dyno test at only 119 miles on the clock….if the engine goes bang be surprised if BMW would honor the warranty. They’ll look for any excuse not to pay out 😮
He's just saying these bikes were designed to be ridden on the street and thus make peak hp and torque lower in the rev range compared to the S1000RR and M1000RR engines
The Dyno guy is wrong. It's the S1000RR engine, with M1000RR airbox. The cam profile above 9000rpm is the same as the RR. As another poster commented, this dyno room has a tiny fan, which probably explains why the numbers are always really bad here...
a drop of power after peak hp means rich condition. yes a tune will help. cam profile usually show itself in the mid-range. as I said, your dyno guy is sheep.

You said this area is having massive construction what area is that?
Definitely something wrong there seen other m1000r push more bhp stock at the rear wheel even imkay,s push high 190 plus
If you 5 gear pullup in dyno then its produce much more like 180 above
@@thisguy9919 Central PA and more specifically the Cumberland County area
@@karnal1710 yeah it looks like the tune to me so we'll find out shortly once we do the exhaust and tune
Always enjoy seeing your Dad on the channel, all the best to you and Christina.
thank you brother! Hope to have him on more in the summer :)

Lots of room improvement. I would like to see you pit this against the Streetfighter V4.
hmmm that's a great idea thanks!
The cam profile will not be the cause of the flat lining at peak rpm. The MR has the SRR engine with MRR airbox. It doesn't have street cams.
I love seeing pops in the videos and that M1000R is by far my favourite street bike! 👍👌👊
Thank you! Gonna try to get him in more videos this summer as the weather improves :)
All those donuts and I didn’t even have one🥲 I think it’s time for a new tune 💥
haha yeah I never got a chance to try one either :(

Appreciate the feedback we will keep that in mind thanks!
Always love seeing your pops🤌🏼🙏🏼🤙🏼
More to come!
How does that happen; come in for spark plugs and leave with two extra bikes (GS 1250 and R7)? 😮
lol i know right
There are different two maps from factory, standard and the torque map lower top end, probably has the torque map (way more fun for the street anyway)
ahhh yes I did hear that as well...I thought you had to specifically ask for the torque man though
@@JaretCampisi my white M1000R came with a torque map from factory, i was told they can change it at the first service as well?

haha sport bikes are less and less appealing to me every year :)
Do a Bonneville Bobber! Check out Thornton Hundred. Dado would have a blast doing a wide wheel kit
I've always loved those triumph bobbers and would like to do a build with one at some point for sure
I'm shocked at the BHP. If you see other videos of this bike it's a lot higher. That Dyno is very conservative.
I love you guys. You’re funny.
I was always told 5th gear is 1 to 1. When did it change to 4th gear?
Google it :)
Pappa Campisi is a character 😅
he's too much haha
A flash will fix that right up 😉
yes can't wait! We will be doing that after the full titanium exhaust this week :)
If you run the bike with a tune that gives more hp at the top, then you risk the motor. The tune optimizes power down low and limits the top on purpose.
yeah we are going to see how the bren flash does with the bike and report the finding so stay tuned!
@@JaretCampisi be careful you know what’s happened to these motors and you’re in no warranty land…
Is this bike in brake in mode? Why is the shift light flashing at 7000 rpm?
nah the first service has been done I just hadn't changed the shift light before this video but it is changed now

Appreciate the info!
you need to do a ride and shine there meet and greet at that dealer
They have an event coming next week on May 4th from 10-2pm so come on over!
👍 greetings from beautiful greece to beautiful america with love my friends ❤💜
Greetings brother! We could use some of that Greece weather about now haha

165 hp to the crank on the s1000r not to the wheel 🤷♂️
Cool 😎 !
excited to see what it does after the exhaust and flash!
I think 178 to 180.

He is actually wearing Dainese riding shoes that I got him with full protection :)
@@JaretCampisii wouldn’t call it full protection as it doesn’t really protect the ankle 😉
very beautiful bmw

nah it has over 621 miles what you are seeing in this video is the miles till empty from the gas gauge :)
Not sure about the hp but dam she sounds good on the dyno in the intro ❤❤❤❤❤
just wait till you hear it with the new exhaust!
Just can't get into the BMW bikes. Love Pops bike and I'm an "R" fan so congrats to the kid who got the beautiful R7.
I used to not be a fan of them either but now having owned a few I can say they are really great bikes!
It's good for me. 👍👍👍👍🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
165 is kinda low for 208hp bike
Very good 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Juicy 👍
As soon as your dad said 178 I said 168
Look at you!
196 bhp is my guess.
❤❤
ok last thing, I get it, who else has a dyno ? probably no one close so your stuck with him. at least it only happens twice per bike.
Please change mirror use rizoma downforce wing mirrors 😢
o yea I've owned a dyno an a trailer since 1995
I dont get what the dyno guy is saying when the bike is suppose to have 208HP at the crank.

Yep already have one here and ready to go after the exhaust :)

Well, went you live in the country had a clean car it's impossible😅

we already have one so don't worry :)
🇨🇵
sorry ....Jaret
auto correct keeps dicken me
Totalled his bike after 4 days in a country where there are hardly any corners - shouldn't even be allowed a pedal bike 😂
You have no idea what happened or how he totaled the bike but immediately talk negative about it?
That 390 is what Christina should have been on, you always had her on way way way too much bike for her.
She started on a Yamaha R3 and rode that bike for two years before moving up to other models.
dyno guy trying to blow up another bmw
why was he trying to blow it up? On a dyno you are supposed to run the bike up until red line to get peak hp
a drop of power after peak hp means rich condition. yes a tune will help. cam profile usually show itself in the mid-range. as I said, your dyno guy is sheep.
that bmw is automatic🤔
Uh he was 20 off. Her math was fine😅
He said 176...it made 167 that's not 20 off
@@JaretCampisi my bad math lol! Thought he said 187
Haha, you were 20 off! Has to watch it again lol
now I'm going to have to watch it again lol
