Love my BT tuned S1K! Made a mod to my bike. Informed BT and they adjusted my tune accordingly. Then they introduced the exhaust valve startup mod, and yep they gave me that too. I’ve tried the other guys and BT-Moto customer service is second to none. Now thanks to this video looks like I need those velocity stacks and the stage 2! Keep up the awesome work guys.
Did the tune smooth out the throttle hunting at cruise? Mine stock has a noticeable hunting pulse at 4-5k rpm, and I've read plenty of forums saying the same. I'd love to be able to smooth that out.
I've used BT ever since my 2013 s1000rr and have always been super impressed. But, in the beginning you said 4-5 whp was big on a bike that weighs 415 lbs then in the end you're saying you sacrifice a little bit down load, but actually it's a lot down low and mid range. If someone wants to be straight line fast for roll racing, drag racing, etc. then get the velocity stacks. Otherwise if you intend to do spirited riding through twisties, track riding, etc. you're better off with the stock velocity stacks that maintain more power until around 10,750 rpm. Coming off a corner you'll be pulling away the entire time until top of whatever gear you're in.
I enjoyed the video, but it looks like the customers bike is running decat headers/link pipe, while you describe it as a stock bike. I'm wondering if competitor tune was added before of after the decat and if it would affect the tune if applied before that cat was removed? (I have no idea who the competitor is by the way)
I have had my s1kR for a year now, not tuned at all. About to just order stage 2 and stacks, sounds like it will feel like a new bike!? - also how the hell did it go 200mph? different gearings?
I don't like to change the exhaust because that made it louder, which I don't want. So, is changing the stacks and filter without changing the exhaust make any good to the bike? or is it just useless? thanks.
@@BT_Moto perfect! because I have a Aprilia RS660, I love the design of the exhaust and his sound. I'm ok to change the filter and the sparks IF that bring more power. If it's negligeable or bring nothing let me know before I do the work. So after that I can buy your ECU update.
Just about to pull the trigger on this bike, can you speak on the MPH reading incorrectly? Theres no way it actually goes 204 in 4th. What causes the reading to be so off? is there a solution to this?
I have a 2021 BMW R1250RT and am considering buying your stage 1 tune for it but I have a question, if serviced by a dealership (it’s still under warranty) and the tune was returned to stock before the service, does BMW have the ability to see there was a tune on it…? (I know BMW has the capability to see more data than the dealership) and therefore void the warranty…?
The paper in his hand has a circular label on it. Not sure if the paper is from the tuner or not but... I really want to know who it is. All of these tuners call out other tuners but no one will put a name on it. I think the people deserve to know!
@@brandongrigaliunas3289 it's a pretty well known tuner in California that puts out videos trash talking and putting down BT. I personally hate that because your product and results should be good enough to stand on their own. BT is doing the right thing by not giving them credence. Just show the results!
I went to Chris for my Suzuki, he did an excellent job. I highly recommend his work. He doesn't offer tuning for BMWs though, so I have to look elsewhere for my new S1kR
I cant stop laughing! Nerve of some tuners. Looks like ir was running arrow headers. Would love to see a head to head with gabro for aprilia products. I no there r&d is legit and offer various tune for multiple models as per mods, u guys however are (as we say in england) the dogs bollocks!

That first tune not only didn't add power, but those AFRs were ridiculous. Loving the R, these bikes are really good even stock.
Would you guys ever try comparing Alpha racing stacks vs your BT stacks?
Great information and video 🤜🏾

Wait how does the bike hit 205 mph after the tune?
and on 4gear.... WTF ?
Alpha Racing stacks would be great to test, I have just installed them on a M1000RR Competition 2024.
Have you done a dyno run yet? I would be curious to see the usable (midrange) power results.
No dyno run yet.

The bike was tuned for the mods it was video’d with before we got it.
Great video !!

First😂. the other tuner must be extremely ashamed if he saw this video
Thx for the S1000R vid :)
So overall what is the difference between stock tune and your tune in mid range?
Differences explained in the dyno results
What gearing bike is running? I can't believe it goes 200 mph in 4th stock
It’s reading incorrectly. I got surprised when I saw that aswell😂

You don’t need to swap your exhaust to see power gains with these mods

Dude can podcast interview while riding 😁😂

Just goes to prove, if you want the best fit BT Moto.

We haven’t had any warranty issues due to our flashing. Email sales@bt-moto.com with any more questions
I work for BMW and they don’t void the warranty for tunes. We use Bren Tune at our dealership.
We all know the name! 😉😁

I went with Chris Moore for my Z H2 but I'm considering dropping down in power to a 2023 Diavel V4 and you guys will be my go to flash if I do.
The diavel v4 is really a great bike. A lot of fun to ride

Does bike engine melts after the tunes?
At 23:40 Did you just reach “200 mph“ on naked bike ? 😮
Gotta be kilometers
Can you open a shop in the uk?
We have lots of good options in the UK/EU already...

Any guesses on who's tune it was?
I have one I suspect it is, but I don't want to start any kind of tuning war.
Sounds like carita or whoever it is lol

Was this the stage one or stage two tune with your stacks.
SLR has entered the chat lmao
