What's the major difference between the M1000RR vs the 2023 s1000rr? Would you swap it for the S1000rr for the new electronics? I still think the old M1000rr looks gorgeous.
Needs to be illegal to sell a sport bike with ridiculous restrictions, makes for a dangerous ride. My 2020 Fireblade was Unrideable Stock, parked it for almost 1- year waiting for the flash

I just got a mid pipe out of eBay ( cat delete ) and a servo buddy but after watching your video I kinda regret ( maybe ) getting that because according to you, the bike sounds better after the flash tune and the performance is night and day difference. Should I put the mid pipe for the sound and keep the stock muffler? I’m gonna have the bike flashed at Lee’s no matter what, I’m sold on that.
If you needed to bring the bike back in for service; and you flashed back to stock. Would the dealer be able to tell the bike had been flashed. Flash Counter for example
1st thing we check when an S/M is submitted for a CEL or runnability concern. Detecting it is quick & effortless. GOOD dealers DO care, because some people are a little less than honest….
I have been reading and hearing allot of opinions on if velocity stacks are worth it or not. I would love to see a video on the dyno results for a tuned bike before and after adding velocity stacks.
I would be very curious to hear some thoughts on why the factory bike was tuned like this. It seems like that limits on 2nd-5th gear must have been considered very carefully by bmw. By un-restricting it, what are things you think we should be on the lookout for? Im pretty much asking as a person that will be getting this bike to be 80 percent trackday use and like 20 percent on the road when im bored.
Restricted due to noise and emissions compliance. You lose nothing by derestricting the bike and gain what we feel the bike was always meant to be, out of the box.

Couple questions, I owned a 22 and did your iat, and velocity stacks, i remember when i replaced the stacks wondering how yours pick up 7hp when they were identical, just different material? And i just got a 24 and they come with the m stacks arw you still claiming 7hp? Also why hasnt bmw moved the iat if its so important to do?

The M1000 has a akro high speed cat that weighs, I believe 5-10lbs less and gives it a slightly more aggressive sound. It can be ordered as a $2k option. It has a clean titanium finish vs the stock exhaust( cat and pre cats) that look like they were sitting in salt water for years.

ok guys I'm really considering trading my 2018 zx14r in on this bike ...how does the low end and midrange acceleration feel compared to my bike...the 14 feels pretty strong
The shiftcam tech bmw put on the bike actually makes a hair more torque than a Ducati V4, which has 1103cc’s. If you goose the throttle only (no clutch) at 40mph in second gear, the front tire comes right up.
The top end limiter reduces power so the bike can’t go past that speed. It needs more power. Once that restriction is removed, the bike goes faster. Doesn’t mean it’s a top speed limiter.
Is there a physical location that I can bring my bike? I saw that you guys took the bike to Lee’s Motorcycles in SD. I’m located in SD also and I would like to have my flash done. I don’t have a computer and do this at home will be a hassle. Thanks for the help.

We’ve had zero warranty issues. With our handheld you can flash back to stock at any time. Bike honestly isn’t worth it if it stayed with the factory tuning.

Priorities these days are bad. Yes, ultimately the video is selling a product. If you don’t like the person reviewing it, that’s cool. What’s being said isn’t false though.

This is why the video isn’t just opinion, but also dyno results with before and after with dragy results to back it up. It really is that much of a change, honestly.
The one drawback is if BMW wants to F you if there’s a warranty issue they can because of the re tune. Not saying it’s not worth it……just saying. As for opening up the throttle valve and keeping it open, I agree you don’t need a new exhaust. I went the servo valve route though.
I think you're wrong with your title , you should search honda CBR 1000RRR FIREBLADE SP is the fastest big bike and in terms of durability honda CBR is good also too.
It is a good bike, fast in straight line, cheap to insure and 3 year warranty, negatives, feels heavy and cumbersome, I’d pick an R1 over this, cheaper and more reliable, feels much lighter and more stable at high speeds

Are you sure it’s limited to 170 mph stock ?? I personally find that externally hard to believe can I get a confirmation on this?

To show how the tuning performs not only In the top end, but also in the midrange. This helps compare against that stock midrange flat spot.

No, that restriction is RPM limit only. Not a lower limit. It won’t allow the bike to go beyond 9000 RPM with the limiter on it.
@@BT_Moto Without the flashing you did, which I assume a standard consumer not be available to achieve, is the bike worth it? 26K seems steep for a bike that performs like a 600cc and will get mopped by every 999cc bike out there.
@@link1983 very worth it, even over the 20-22. It’s more stable, has more Nannie’s for the novice looking to have fun, it’s violently fast. It checks all the boxes.

You mean the same thing that every single one of our customers complain about? All we did was hit the talking points and daily complaints we are asked to correct. Understand this is OUR youtube channel of course we're trying to sell something. @@Breathemusic4202ride a 23 and you’ll laugh at its performance. It isn’t anything like a 21. It has an extra flat spot up top and more gears with flat spots. Impressing the issue to customers isn’t a bad thing. People busy spending $3000 on an exhaust that makes the bike run worse than stock rather than a few bucks on a flash. Priorities these days are bad.

The one drawback is if BMW wants to F you if there’s a warranty issue they can because of the re tune. Not saying it’s not worth it……just saying. As for opening up the throttle valve and keeping it open, I agree you don’t need a new exhaust. I went the servo valve route though.
Any modification can result in warranty denial. Our experience is the opposite, BMW is fair to deal with.

It is a good bike, fast in straight line, cheap to insure and 3 year warranty, negatives, feels heavy and cumbersome, I’d pick an R1 over this, cheaper and more reliable, feels much lighter and more stable at high speeds
