Brenda, the best part about priming the pump is leaving the cap on and shooting it across the room! It's a game changer. Good luck in your recovery!!!

Thank you for this i only have the tube in my small intestine but was having some difficulty now i see why the bag wasn't flowing i stopped the prime before it got to the part where it was actually coming out of the tube so im guessing only air was going in mye 😢😢i didn't want it to spill all over the place but now see that its necessary all in all ive found it challenging to say the least but im sure ill get the hang of it at least i hope so because an entire bag of nutrients went to waste i do have visiting nurse services i have to definitely utilize them for more than cleaning and redressing my wound as its still a fresh cut please make more tutorials i appreciate this and wish you all the best on your healing journey. I do not have cancer im a diabetic who was undiagnosed for so long that my organs do not properly process and distribute the nutrients from solid foods. Thank god i can still eat solids but hoping that these infusions will help me with nourishment to gain weight because at this point im technically anorexic 😢

Brenda, I appreciated your instruction video for the Joey Pump feeding tube. My wife uses her feeding tube through an NG tube and I have constant clogging problems. I would like to hear what solutions you have for clearing a clogged feeding tube. I found the feed and flush bags work over night to keep it open, but now the feed and flush bags are on back order and I have clogging problems every morning. I have tried flushing with warm water, in and out plunging of the feeding tube with warm water, using a plastic declogger, sucking solution out with a syringe, using Clog Zapper, and using a used Clog Zapper just for the small plastic applicator to deep flush with warm water, and also using a medical grade tube cleaner. Sometimes these work and sometimes they don't. Do you have any additional suggestions or techniques.

Any idea why I have to keep starting the pump after I have primed it and "ran" it? ? I have to start it about 6 or 7 times before it stays running.
