- The TARDIS. It’s the legendary symbol of Doctor Who as a franchise. When you see this, you instantly recognise it. No matter if you’ve been a fan of Doctor Who for 60 years or 6 minutes. But today, we ask a BIG question! Can you actually destroy it? This Iconic Blue Box has been thrown into the Satan Pit, almost cooked by The Daleks and shot multiple times. The Doctor even took it down the M25 once upon a time… so I’d say it’s got more patience than most of us.

You missed two big instances. The TARDIS blew up in the Pandorica plotline, and there were the remains of several dead TARDISes in "The Doctor's Wife."
It was blown up from the inside not destroyed from the outside
Yeah 'House' killed/destroyed many Tardises -- as did presumably the Daleks in the Time war.. cause the timelords having indestructable ships would have been a huge advantage (just crash them into Dalek ships). It was always initimated that the heart of the tardis was the 'Eye of harmony' like the heart of gallifrey (or maybe just the citidel) a kind of stabalised black hole, or star on the verge of becoming one. And in the Castovalva episode (think thats the one) the Tardis 'Burns' some of its rooms for extra power.
In the book engines of war, we see some of them being destroyed and their described as blooming. Their interior dimensions bursting out
There’s wiki saying the eye of harmony can be jettisoned and a new power source can be added
I think if house was still in control of the doctors TARDIS no doubt it would of either burned out or been destroyed like the Tardis Graveyard since the mind of the tardis was locked in a human body
The TARDIS’ power can make "all universes” “be deleted" through a self destruction (The Pandorica Opens).
The Quantum Archangel was losing against the TARDIS.
With how many times the doctor has sent all his regeneration energy in the Tardis I wouldn’t be surprised if it regenerated itself haha
You forgot the Fifth Doctor story Frontios the Tractators managed to split the TARDIS up with out any device just by their minds.
It seems pretty clear this guy only cares about new who
Are you kidding? The TARDIS is the real star of the show. Apart from cosmetic changes, it has always had basically the same console and exterior positoning and shape. It is also the first major 'character' we see in the first episode, and the last in many story endimgs!
You can also spill a little coffee on it
Yeah that was so stupid! How can such a tough and durable Time Machine be taken down by some fucking coffee??
@@matthewhegarty2873 I know right? But it had to happen for the story of Wild Blue Yonder to happen and for the word gravity (I have no idea what that word is) to change to mavity
Good morning Tardis tech support,
How may we help.
A none functioning Tardis you say,
Have you tried turning it off and on again.
you missed it exploding causeing the Pandorica story
Maybe you could destroy it in a parallel timeline but you can’t actually destroy the Tardis that would be like killing the doctor
well, you can- its happened before, it was just reversed. but the tardis can be destroyed
It can be destroyed and the Doctor can be killed. It's just that someone will come up. Rebuild it and then bring him back to life
What if you implode the Tardis
I thought it was destroyed during Moffet's era. They found pieces of it destroyed but somehow magically reappeared at Amy and Rory's wedding, though I think it was kinda glossed over the hows and whys. I'll admit to be a little hazy here. I need to rewatch them.
The 7th (?) Doctor's Tardis was also torn into pieces, but even that wasn't enough to fully destroy it. From memory, it was able to be reassembled through the intact control room.
@@wallacewallaby5782I think the exterior was only discovered like they blew up the physical police box. So the tardis just went into the vortex to sulk and grow a new one
The Tardis Was burning throughout all of time and space
The doctor used the Pandorica which Because it was the perfect prison. Basically contained a backup of the original universe set up by getting those few molecules to burn. Everywhere , in time and space , he was able to reset the universe , but he and the tardis were on the other side
Amy due to growing up next to the split in time and space calls by the explosion
Amy was able to remember him and that brought him back. We're appearing him as well as the ship because he was exterminated And dying when he crashed to the pandora into the burning tardis
So I assumed that the box and the doctor were both basically reset to a standard based on amy's memory of them
TARDIS, the most powerful machine, and it can be destroyed by the fucking titanic
you use TVA theme in that video little remixed but still TVA
The only TARDIS I ever saw destroyed onscreen was Omega's in the Peter Davison story Arc Of Infinity but the Doctor's seems to be pretty resilient.
What about the Tardis in Revolution of the Daleks?
I'm sure it shattered in the B'n'W days, under troughton, though that might have been fictional. We also have Frontios, and the tractators (?), that looked quite like one of the leaked creatures... to me, at least.
You got to remember that the doctors is only Part tardis on its mothers side
At a bunch of other convoluted things
Its history is just as long and convoluted as the doctor's
@@plantainsame2049 And he built it himself when he was fully human.
Yes/No, depends on the whims of script editor, writers or 'showrunner' (i hate that term). if you go looking for 'cannon' in Dr Who then you don't really understand Dr Who.......
Ok but outside of it destroying the Doctor because we should all know by now that the TARDIS keeps the Doctor young, it actually CAN be destroyed, its just always saved before something really bad happens and ends the entire series but yes, the TARDIS can be destroyed.. between the ep called "the end of the journey" the Dale's start to destroy it because they took the defenses down, even after that, the ep where the scraps people put the magnetron on, because the Doc took down the defenses so Clara could fly, it tore everything open, if the defenses are taken down, it can be destroyed, but only if the defenses are down, if they're still up, it would be extremely hard to destroy it
I don't know where you're getting the idea that it keeps him young. That's more due to his time lord biology
The episode is called journey's end
And its dalek
Why does their profile picture say Gnimo Rok
Where did you get the clip from 0:11
Looks like when it flies off at the very end of Eve of the Daleks.
Yes but it gets better
What song did you use in the background of this video?
Doctor Who remix Theme
channel : JBH
No you cannot destroy the tardis it's part of the doctor and it always will be
So if you destroy the Doctor...
That's more meta than in universe you can very much discourage in universe
@@SpaceCatttttHe will get better
👍🏾
