@Cilvathorne, what did I tell you? "When, not if the Panthers win the cup." The Oilers don't belong there they beat a weakened Vancouver team barely. And a Dallas team that was beat up by Vegas and Colorado. I called it a clean sweep if the Panthers won game 1

I've been waiting for this moment since 13 years old - I'm 41 now. As a former player who probably could've had a pro career had some unfortunate things not have happened, this team means a lot to me. Edmonton will bring their best next game - and the Panthers will too.

As a Blackhawks fan I waited 42 years for a Cup. Never in my widest dreams did I think I'd see three. I took off five years from following any sports, even my blood, the NHL, and during that time moved to Kentucky. I began watching the playoffs last season, following all the games. The cardiac grit of the Panthers got a hold of me, in earnest. Earlier this year I picked up a Tkachuk Finals home jersey. I hadn't bought a jersey since Peter Forsberg! In February of this year, I mailed my hockey buddies that based on their play anything short of the Cup for this Panther team would be a disappointment. Does anyone remember the 'experts' saying, after the '23 Final, that the Panthers were done and would probably be 'gutted', cause that sticks in my mind. Going back to the Finals is an accomplishment in and of itself. I'm really happy for all of you long time Panther fans. No nonsense now...Go Panthers, let's get it done! Thanks Jaws! ...and Fluffy too!

As someone who is primarily south Florida football and basketball lover and starting to follow hockey on and off since the crazy run last year this is so exciting. I’m watching this panthers team and they are absolutely dominating, this is such a crushing defeat for the oilers

But like you say it's not over yet, I'm not gonna be carried away. It could so easily been going to OT and if the Oilers won it would have been an entirely different situation. Even if the Oilers win the next it could set off some nerves. It was not a pretty win but we got it! Now let's just take the next game step by step.

That 3rd period is the reason why the Panthers play better when it’s tie going into the 3rd period instead of having a lead. I don’t like how they move E-Rod to the 1st line instead of keeping the lines how they were since it works. Overall, I wish there was less of the stupid penalties. One more to go
If the Panthers were down or tied by 1 or 2 in the third, they would score 1 or 2. Up by one, it will be a scoreless shutout. If they are up by 4, they will somehow let the other team score 3 goals but only 3.

I'm not gonna lie, I thought that 2000 mile flight might have slowed the Panthers down a bit. This is such a strange way for the SCF to go after having to claw here tooth and nail back to back years. Crazy that the West kind of imploded, but the Cats are showing the Oilers that we showed up for war, even if they didn't.
The Oilers showed up -'the Panthers are just that good. Thats the team theyve always been. And the Panthers didnt have to claw their way in this year, thats why theyre cruising

Let's get this done with. We've been stopping their top guys for 3 games now. We want the cup, we WILL win the cup.
I thought whichever team came out of the East was going to win the cup and I also thought NY or Carolina could have beaten the Oilers so congrats again on a well deserved cup they earned it. I thought Dallas would have given the Panthers a better series they're just wearing them out and their goalie isn't good enough to pull these games out. I could imagine what it must be like after the goalies they faced in the East and then getting Skinner in the final although I didn't think sweep but they have been the best team just about all year. You should be more than happy although I still think if Fox could have played his game the Rangers had a shot but that's on the Rangers for being so dependent on one player. The Panthers are so good because they are not dependent on a few guys.
I selfishly want them to win it all in FL.... but they're too good.... it was meant to be so lets enjoy it to the fullest!!!!
This is the one benefit of our fans not showing up to the games (aka a lot of empty seats in there). Because I think the Panthers team is thinking, "Awe, not doing it for that reason in particular, let's just get it done in Edmonton." Seven Things:
1) Game 3 is in the books! We won! Victory! Yeah! 4-3 the final! Oh my gosh those last few minutes of the third were a nail biter. I was very nervous that the Oilers were going to score and it would go to Overtime. Luckily Bob took care of that for us. We're good...In addition, it was nice to see Barkov get a goal after what he went through the last few days. Barkov, Reinhart, and Taraenko are the 3 stars in my book tonight.
2) We have a 3-0 Series lead! We're one game away! Holy moly! Unbelievable. At the start of the series I thought it was going to go at least 6 or 7 but now I'm changing my mind and I'm looking forward to finishing this up either on Saturday or early next week.
3) I can't believe what is about to happen. This feels like a dream but it's real! Somebody pinch me haha. This ultimate prize we have been craving for so long is about to become reality.
4) Let's celebrate this victory tonight but as usual not party too hard. We've got another game to focus on this weekend. Let's focus on only that game and nothing else. Stay focused and not jump ahead.
5) WE WANT THE CUP! WE WANT THE CUP! WE WANT THE CUP! 😃🏆
6) I love this team! I love these fans! I love the organization! I love the city! Most importantly I love all you guys. 🙂

When my Blues won it all in 2019 it was the best summer ever! The weather was warm and the whole city was in an extended good mood. We had been waiting over 50 years for that moment and it was awesome. I'm very happy for you and all Panthers fans who are likely going to experience that very soon. I've been rooting for the Panthers all playoffs and am looking forward to seeing our "hometown" kid Mathew Tkachuk and former Blue, Vladimir Tarasenko raise the Cup high! Go Cats!

Congrats.....I am a lifer Devil's fan, however hockey fan first. Growing up a goalie my 4 heros to this day: Vladislav Tretiak, Martin BRODEUR, Chris Terreri and John Vanbiesbrouck. I have two original Beezer Panthers jerseys and in 96 was fully with them in the playoffs. I met Beezer for first time morning GM 2 vs the Flyers here in Philthy (Flyers Suck). It was a disgrace Beezer did not win the Conn Smythe. Look at that roster ...Dave Effffn Lowry....THAT was their leading point producer. I have found it APPALLING and disgusting they never retired #34 and truly Thanked Him (don't give me no Beezer night). He did things overrated Bobby Lou could never do with better talent. So I am happy for you but until they retire #34...it's a disgrace
