Today can very well be the day I never thought would come. Religiously following this team for 25+ years through the dark days of the 2000s and the disappointment of the 2010s. Through all the relocation talks of the past and the uncertainty whether the team would stay in South Florida. This day never seemed possible. The team that I grew up watching and if I'm being honest, no one cared about. Is about to accomplish something no fan would have thought possible for years. It has been an experience filled with both excitement but also with a lot of misery and heartbreak along the way. For all the ones who stayed true and stuck with the organization over the years, we deserve this. If I had a choice to be 4 years old again and choose a team. There is no doubt I would be a Florida Panther

Congrats on being the father of a Saint Bernard that is older than 11 years old ! That’s quite an accomplishment for that breed ! He lived a very nice full life 😊 Oh I’m a Senators fan but I do like the Panthers. Being Canadian I’d like the Oilers to win but It’s quite a hill they’ll have to climb. The Panthers are such a well coached team… extremely well balanced with a goalie that can steal a series. On the good side… if Edmonton lose, they’ll lose to a team that it’s their first cup ever. So it ain’t too bad and I’ll be happy for the Panthers and their fans.

The things I would do to be watching with my brothers and dad who I grew up with watching with after my mom passed in 2012. That’s why it’s deeper than hockey and this video is absolutely 100% true. Some people say it’s just sports. But me n others say it’s a source of connection and relief between those u love. Without the entertainment (and struggles) of the dolphins, cats, marlins I would’nt have the same relationship I do with my dad, uncle, brothers etc. so tonight or at least soon is when we finally celebrate. As someone who has been a long time Miami Heat fan before becoming a Panthers fan… I can say that I have been waiting for about 11 years for a South Florida team to bring home a championship, I still remember all of the NBA finals losses (to San Antonio, Lakers, and Nuggets) and last year cup final loss to Vegas. As much as it hurts to lose and be right there, I want to finish this off tonight so badly. I have been waiting for sooo long to for this moment right here. I got nothing else to say besides that

Slowly but surely the panthers have worn down the best team's in the NHL. It was just a matter of time that nhl media and other teams fans will admit they are the most complete team in this years Stanley Cup playoffs. I'm torn about winning tonight or having a game five in our own barn. On the surface it would be so great to have the final chapter written in our much maligned arena, in front of our often disparaged fans. My most compelling argument to returning home is forcing the spoiled, tainted, shameless, lazy media (that I have come to despise during these playoffs) be inconvenienced by having to travel back here to report on the inevitable. Wow, how tempting that sounds. On the other hand, raising the cup on their ice is more impacting . That scene would be another dagger in the hockey elitist snobs' hearts. Also, the stories of the returning flight home would be legendary. Remember, Amazon is following Tkachuck for their documentary series. Lastly, on a purely selfish, petty wish, I desire the entire team to ignore and skip shaking hands with Draisaitl. I'm pretty certain his intention was to injure. Barkov, on the other hand, would not approve of that approach, so I don't believe it will occur.

The effects of a FL sweep could be massive. Would be the first ever of the lockout era. The last time it happened was 26 years ago, same age as Tkachuk....Could cause an Edmonton implosion and possibly reevaluation of Canadian teams by the league. EDM were forced to massively overpay nurse because literally nobody would go to EDM.

I think that's a bit much to ask this Panthers team to win multiple cups when we already made it to 2 finals. That takes a huge toll mentally and physically, plus increases how much we have to pay for our players. Maybe they could win another cup in a couple years, but I don't see them winning 3 in 5.

As well as sign guys on team friendly deals with floridas tax advantage. Imagine if they could get younger versions of okposo or vladdy. Kinda stinks for lomberg and cousins but they were just small bricks in the foundation of what the team is now. And lomberg was one of my favorite panthers for years. Go Cats
