    That head gasket. . It worked on a cortina mk4 back in the day. . kept it six months & sold it on 😆

    Excellent job on the sump and only 2x pin holes, if it were me that sump would be a garden sprinkler,.. Well not really..
    Correct my wrong but if your going blacktop/st170 , isn't the oil pump pipe in a different position to silvertop ..I forget ..

      Hi Marty, the ST170 block is the same as the Zetec, oil pump location is the same, but the pick up is different.

    I just filled mine with parrafin, then welded up where it leaked. Obviously having removed the parrafin first 😂

      🤣🤣 Once I've got it on the engine, I'll gently pressurise it all again, and do the soapy water test.
