      Thank you! I am a huge fan of punch machines and picked this up to stop the epic amount of key dust in my vehicle haha

    Once you have used one of these code machines, you'll never go back. Absolutely perfect cuts, every time (as long as you do it correctly). I had a friend who was an auto locksmith, and I would use his truck in the evenings. He sold, and the guy who took over, made a key for a customer of mine. He cut one side by code, then duplicated it on a cutter, then made another key on the cutter. WHY? You can literally cut by code almost as fast as on the cutter. We all know (or should) every time you copy a key, it changes.

    Which card is for Yale? I think I’m missing some cards.

    I’m currently looking at getting one of these. Can they punch M1 key blanks and other masterlock blanks? Thanks.

      Yes they can! It should come with a couple of Master Code Cards, but you can also download more using the software!
      If you check out my video #8 where I show how to pick and decode a Master Lock #3, I code cut the key using this machine!

      @@firefighter1241 No problem! The only downside to punch machines are they can't cut paracentric keys.
      But, this one cuts the majority of Res/Com and Auto's in North America!

      @@LockandKilo I picked up a used 110v 1200 blitz machine that I need to get up and running. I want something thats more portable to take to calls. I’m just getting into this business. Curtis clipper has come in handy. But still want something I can do Schlage, KwiKset, master, and American lock keys with. Looked At Rytan but for a little bit more money the 1200 punch looks like the batter deal.

      @@firefighter1241 Yeah! That's exactly why I picked this up... I work in a lot of rural spots and wanted something portable, plus I didn't want to wire up anything to my new work vehicle lol
      This will cut Kwikset, Schlage, Master, American, Some Yale like the Y11, Best, Falcon, Arrow, Corbin, Lockwood and a ton of others. I think they come with 100-125 code cards depending where you purchase from!
      I almost grabbed the Rytan until I saw this on a Thanksgiving sale for $400 off the normal price. It also amazingly stays perfectly calibrated on a vehicle compared to the Blitz haha... my Blitz is always half a cut off after a while on the van.
      I had to calibrate this one out of the box, but it's super simple and only takes a few minutes!

    How come you didn't double punch the key since it's a kwikset ?

      @@LockandKilo unless the cylinder has had its driver Pins changed out. I thought you needed the larger cuts. Because of the driver pin style

      @@briansander6194 normally I am using this machine on rekeyed locks lol
      The key I cut was for a rekeyed defiant in this video, works like a charm with just one punch.

    • @odinslockllc
      @odinslockllc Год назад

      @@briansander6194 I thought the same thing but that would only apply to the Kwikset chamfered pins and I don’t think defiant uses them. I’m pretty sure ezset and take (in kw1 keyway) does though. Kwikset Smartkey doesn’t need it wider either.
