Best quotation that I took away from this wonderful interview:
"I had a student who wrote music, but he didnt know what to do with it. He came to me, and asked me what to do. I told him: I know the feeling, its like walking into a restaurant, but all the tables are taken. What do you do? You build another table. Your own table."
    - Philip Glass

I never knew Philip Glass was so intelligent - not only with regards to music, but with regards to philosophy. And you only need listen to Akhnaten, one of the greatest operas of all time, to hear the calculated, planned brilliance of his writing. I would like to thank Philip Glass for creating such an impact on my life.

His favourite word is "ah". The female also says "ah" too....I think that when he says ah...he is thinking...to what he should say. A very intelligent man.

I am not that bad at english, or at least I think so..but, although Glass is probably my favorite artist, I just can't understand a word of what he says..and not only in this interview. Is it just me? Too bad 'cause I'd love to hear what he says.

I'm 6 years late but... that's interesting. I mean, he does slur his words quite a bit, but I can still manage to make out everything he says. He does however speak with a high degree of intelligence.

Glass speaks as quickly as his musical lines, but listen, listen, listen.
