Paolo is amazing - such an honest, passionate live performer who just ‘feels’ the music. The Vipers, the band he performs with, are superb too. 😍🏴
I was lucky enough to see him live many years ago in Baltimore, when he frist released his LP These Streets. And he was absolutely amazing. He seems to shy away from the limelight, but when he does come out... Look Out! Thank you for your spot on Reaction, as always. 💚🏴🇺🇲
Everyone in the room at the top of their game. Just brilliant. Everyone is so blown away by the music that they forget to mention how gorgeous Paulo is!!!
Yes, that was Paolo doing Auld Lang Syne. ruclips.net/video/zFtYKhEwYoI/видео.html Scream (Funk My Life Up) is fantastic. Any of the live versions, I recommend. Anything from his multiple performances on Jools Holland. Incredible singer!
Paolo is from Paisley. Iron Sky was written and released around the time of the Scottish independence referendum and rumour is it is in reference to it. It does use some of the phrases used during the campaign like "hope over fear". He keeps out of the limelight and only seems to release music after years away from it. He does seem to be booked for a festival in Glasgow next year so maybe new music on the way. This is worth a listen. ruclips.net/video/B4N8pvRhGQ0/видео.html&ab_channel=BBCMusic
Nice reaction and I have to say as a Brit and as a Scot, I think our country and environment creates great signers and artist. I love Australians as you are our cousins essentially or brothers, as a Scot, I don't care about cricket or rugby, we'll leave that to our English neighbours. But there is a reason why the UK is producing and has produced all these great talents of music. Music is better from a colder and darker country. With all due respect to Australia, I cannot think of many top world bands or artists to come from Australia. Don't get me wrong, some good tunes and bands such as crowded house and Acdc, but for 200 years of a country it's not much. Warm weather doesn't produce great music. Paolo is Italian Scottish as is Lewis Capaldi, Not many great bands coming out of Italy though. Jack Savoretti is another British Italian example. I'm genuinely not trying to take the piss here, but the weather is surely an issue
@@PatrolNation Thanks for that, I didn't know that. Btw, I know it's a cliche, but men at work land down under is genuinely one of my all time favourite songs and I'm not even joking. It makes me wish I was Australian. I first heard it as an 8 year old kid or whenever it was out and loved it. Great song
Honestly those musicians are artists. And hes a genuis ..thats what u call music.
Another masterpeice.
No matter what genre

I was born in Scotland. All our great singers/ bands in Australia are from Scotland originally....AC/DC, Men at Work, Jimmy Barnes etc etc.
