Skate was such a great puzzle! I was one of the first to play the original design way back when 😎
1:20 - Technically, mr. ngeruma, that is a laser _emitter_
2:16 - _Diss_ activate
5:03 - I much prefer the Portal 1 style crosshair, it conveys much more meaningful information
9:17 - Could always revert back to Ye Ole' English
16:30 - You do! It's called "looking through the portal"

Damn, this is an old one. The second Hammer map I uploaded to the workshop, in fact.
Honestly it holds up better than I expected, but there's definitely some ways it could've been better. The laser emitters and receivers are too far back into the walls and I think the geometry could be way better in some spots, but overall it's not terrible.
I'd take another look at it but unfortunately the VMF is lost to time. It, along with the VMFs for Swashbuckle and all of the other maps up to Skyranger were all on an old PC of mine, but the hard drive died and I can't access it anymore. It won't even turn on when plugging it into my current PC, which is pretty sad.

Well, you can recover your maps by decompiling BSP files to VMF using BSPSource. So not everything is lost.
