There really are some good people in the world. I work as a cashier at a local gas station and a lady came in and handed me a hundred dollar bill and said you will find a way to pay it forward and I said yes, I will find someone who needs this and I will give it to them and she said no the money is for you and you will find a way to pay it forward. I’m raising three grandchildren and I don’t know if she knew this ( we live in a small town where everybody knows everyone ) and it was right before Christmas. It’s something I will never forget. I always try to be a good person but this just really touched my heart. Honestly I was so shocked, I don’t know if I would recognize this woman if I saw her again. Loved the smile on your face when you hugged your yarn.

I am not the only FRIEND that thinks you are AMAZING. It was refreshing to see you open gifts from friends. God is using you for good tobmy life. Thank you. I subcrbed to both channels because of what they did for you. I couldnt afford to. I am like you in the money for yarn but I can get yarn for projects. So crochet when ou can and pray for others when you cant. Live on the Sunny side of life. I made myself a very large shall. I am a big gal like you and the shawl was over big. When I wasnt feeling good I would wrap up in it and it would make me smile. I gave it away to a woman that called herself the Queen of starting projects. She couldnt remember the last thing she finished. The next time I saw her I gave her the shawl.

Lisa @Happy to Hook crochet uses the Retro Stripes a lot. If you look at her channel she has a ton of it in her background. It works up beautifully. You have wonderful friends. Have lots of fun playing with your new yarns. Whatever you make it will be beautiful. I love yellow, white and grey together. I see many new hats, scarves, and blankets in your future. And I to have cerebral palsy and tremor fibromyalgia Cronic pain failing eye sight so I understand your struggle I think its helps know I'm not alone with struggle. Also crochet been what get me threw I hope when I can no longer see my mind eye remember the colors. No unfortunately surgery cannot fix its called degenerate myopia. That yellow ombre is beautiful, I haven't used those yet, haven't used the retro stripes either. I recently bought the big twist value and I like it, the foundation chains stays stretchy.

Did you stop looking. I use to crochet but I love my looming and I'm a survivor 3 major stroke victim by a doctor from a epidural injection in neck. She severed an artery. I think you are a wonderful person. I hope you loom with some of that

Did you finish the mandala blanket? Add a few more rounds of yellows. Fiber spider has a ripple granny pattern fot the retro yarn. Your boys are going to make you shelves to store the yarn and you can sit and look at it.

We have some things in common, my mum was a giver n like you didn’t know how to to receive from others, she always said, thank you felt like it was never enough n I’m the same way. She used to sing to us also that we were her sunshine even on cloudy days.

Back in the 70 s my friend made a king size bed spread and still uses it. It was flower squares, 2 dimensional. It's beautiful! Have fun!
Looks like your yarn fairies combined Christmas and Valentine’s for you. That yarn is SO beautiful! Purple, green, and yellow are my favorites - springy - violets (my all time favorite flower) and buttercups. After you do the blanket, how about a simple poncho or sweater like Crystal has on her channel. Mr. BOD is modeling a cute hooded sweater vest that you could add sleeves to. That would look good on you. Ella had a messy bun hat on today (2/8) made from the retro yarn. She looked so cute in it. That yarn really makes up nicely.
