I’m glad that Zeke is going to make a good chunk of money at the fair. It’s important for children to know that hard work pays. I wish him and his siblings to win lots of ribbons.

That is not on about big daddy. That’s way too much pressure on him. If they want him doing all of that he wants someone else to work for him and a raise. Honestly they only care about saving money not what they put their staff through.

Your yarn does look splitty, but it sure is beautiful. I don’t have a car, so I don’t know how I’ll do it, but I hope I can get an anniversary cake just like yours. I’ll never live long enough to use the yarn I have. I am going to try to donate some. There are many people who would love to have it, especially at this time of year. I agree, whenever I used the Anniversary cakes, they were very splitty, so annoying, and they had a strange smell like a barn to me, at least that's my opinion. But your project is looking lovely. It may not be a fast project but it will be a beautiful project. Glad to hear Angela's mom is doing well, praises to our sweet Lord. Oh Kaylast night I had to frog 21 rows on the sweater I'm trying to make for my brother, that seems like all I'm getting done is crochet, frog. crochet and frog. LOL Stick with it Kayla, if you are like me whenever I frog it seems like when I crochet it the second time it goes three times faster.♥God bless, be safe (safe travels) and stay well.*(as well as possible)
Congratulations to you and Zeke and his siblings. So glad you got new tires on your car. I totally agree with you on the Anniversary Cake yarns. I had to switch to a plastic hook just to make it a bit easier to work with this yarn. Your blanket is really coming along! I started one of these star blankets months and months ago. I finally put it in time out because I spent more time frogging it! That is nuts about what they want Big Daddy to do. That is just too much for one person or even 2 to do all of that. I love the colors of this anniversary cake. It’s beautiful. I’m not fond of a yarn that’s not twisted enough. I’d rather have a roving yarn. It is beautiful though.

I was 3/4 way around my Tunisian blanket realized my squares were all one stitch to small. lol frog frog frog this will be a queen sized blanket and it’s half done. Two days to recrochet.
I'm using the Caron anniversary cake, too, for my big ball project in the colorway Sundae Fun-day. I know exactly what you mean about the yarn not being twisted. I'm making a granny square style sweater. I'm starting to think I might make it more like a vest instead of putting sleeves on it. I'll see how it goes at the end.

I am so glad you said it. I hate that yarn, too. I had bought the exact same colorway back then, and it was horrible to work with. I haven't bought an Anniversary cake since. I don't know whether it was just that specific color or whether they are all like that.
Hi Kayla. I have missed a few of your videos because I have moved, packing up everything, the stress of cleaning my apartment, only to start unpacking it all again, in my new place. I had nearly 100 boxes, and have only 20 left to unpack. I had not crocheted for 2 months. So, 3 days ago I picked up a blanket I am making out of 2 weight wool yarn. My cat, Raymond and I like our new place, which is bigger and has 2 bedrooms, storage and my own laundry room. Anyway, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the anniversary yarn colour that you are using.
