Dude thank you so much for the info. I spent the extra buck on tanto duals with l3 filmless gen 3 white phos and after I got them I really had no idea what I ordered 🤣 I love them but it's nice to actually get an explanation of the system
You don't feel like you are missing something without the manual gain? That's the one feature that's holding me back.
So the tanto is better than the PVS 14??

No manual gain. Which isn't important if you're running duals, but a lot of people consider the Manual gain a must when running a monocular.
Have you guys messed with the nocturn industries Katana? I was seeking to get a pair of dual tubes however my wallet isnt built like Ronny Coleman
Yeah man we have been selling those for years. they're great.
That's why you get the tanto, and then when you're ready buy the bridge and a 2nd tanto! Voila you now have a katana essentially lol

idk why people get those things when the used market is flush with 14s. like save up for another 6 months
@@mh3225 because most of them don't have the self control to save money. For the most of them that's why they live check to check. It all comes back to what you're willing to sacrifice to get what you want. I get some people just can't afford it. most just can't save

@alexduke5402 Some of us have to be on budgets that are also okay with our spouses. If I was a dictator with our budget, I could save up for dual tubes in less than a year on my teacher salary, but that wouldn't be okay with my wife so it's not okay for me either. I have to save at a slower rate to get a monocular in about 2 years and that's just how it is.
What do you mean? They're about 600 bucks on the website. That's well within 'poor' range considering the pvs's can run 2500+. If you want to buy these as your main nightvis you can. If you want to train early with nightvis you can and then save up for the pvs's. This is excellent for anyone looking to get a start on training with nightvis
To each their own, but I can't stand PVS-14s 😂
