Frigate upgrade modules are easiest to get from rep with merchants and explorers. Once you find a place they restock each time you return to the system.
Ways to get Salvaged Frigate Modules/Bulkheads: 1) Pirate freighters 2) Send out your frigates on missions 3) From the Guilds, when you rank up enough 4) From Derelict Freighters 5) From Crashed Frieghters If I'm missing any, please chime in with a comment. I've earned them from all these sources personally.
I've also never found a settlement except via a map. Speaking of, claimed a settlement via a map. C-Class. But had only green stats and was just over 500k production with just over 100k maintenance. Figured I wasn't going to get much better so I claimed it (didn't want to spam maps looking for a S-Class)
As to Living Frigates, I have a save that has all 30 spots as a Living Frigate. Then I have all 12 of my starships as living ships. I had an idea with that save….
I managed to bring over almost 400k nanites from my expadition save. I got exalted with all the factions and took all the freebies andhad Tons of salvage glass fron all the sentinals ..... it was pretty lucrative.
Bob, how this is possible you don't need to keep focus on an animal while scanning? Do you use a mode for it? I spent a lot of time to scan some flying creatures, just because in vanila game this is not working that way... Or there is an option to switch available, to make it the way it works for you..?
@@SurvivalBobGaming Hmm... I am on PC and I keep the button the whole time necessary for scanning. Despite of that, when I look away, it stops scanning. Wondering, maybe there is an option for scanning...
@@SurvivalBobGaming I work overnight stocking shelves at a grocery store. Love listening to RUclips creators while working. Your videos have been enjoyable.
Loving your content Bob. Thanks!
Thanks!

No mods. As long as you keep holding the scan button down you can look away after it starts. At least on PC it’s been that way for a while.

I was doing the same thing but right now I'm building a new Paraffinium mine because my old one became a Mordite mine in the update.
Mordite mine? Weird
@@SurvivalBobGaming Yes, I have a poop mine.
@@RaithGyaron Faecium is poop, Mordite is death.
@@afacelessname1378 Yes, of course. I meant Faecium. (edit: I did it again)
