The ending also implies he was killed by a human with a knife, which couldnt have been done by the monster. He also would know that the house had been demolished already, seeing as he knew the furniture was new and where some stuff was. Tldr: Scott was killed and replaced by the mad scientist who lured the 3 friends to the house.
I don't think the house ever was demolished. I think the house swallowed the construction equipment into the soil to protect itself, just like it did to the van, and that's why we can see the bucket and arm of the front end loader and excavator poking up out of the ground at 3:20.

The human faces on the models (especially the guys) is uncanny, but I appreciate the dance moves and like the characters! Just have to be careful when eating those backpacks. I know they're tempting but... Anyway. I did not expect that ending chase. Pretty neat game!

Spoilers!: Honestly Indie Horror games with a similar premise to Anatomy or the more obvious reference MONSTER HOUSE need to be more common. Plus i love the idea that the house's existance came from the fact that mad science left unchecked and infected the house into some sort of mimic. Also i love how the excavator scrap, mask and knife are somewhat important to th plot.
So, being an allergy sufferer, legit the 'nightmare' she had after having her allergy meds was relatable to when I was taking zyrtec. Between having a sleep disorder and being on meds for PTSD that also can cause drowsiness after taking my allergy meds I'd be asleep literally all day with many more experiences with sleep paralysis (and 'sleep paralysis demons') than I usually get otherwise. I uh.. changed meds not too long after that haha now I have two allergy meds and just take both when things get too rough. TLDR is that when that happened all I was thinking 'so the meds worked' lol

I have a feeling the creator of the game got inspired by the Monster House movie from 2006, the fact that the house is actually alive, has kind of similiar characteristics to the house in the movie (ok it's almost the same) and the chase scene really reminded me of the movie. I loved it a lot as a kid and I would be happy if it really was an inspiration for this game.

Why do metal keys float at the top of wells in video games? For that key to get in the bucket it would have to be well above the bottom of the water just casually floating
