Thank you for this Ms Angler, I have a life sciences paper tomorrow and this was helpful. However, isn't chlorophyll the substance created that makes plants green? So in other words, photosynthesis does not happen in chlorophyll, but rather in the chloroplast. I don't mean to sound like I'm undermining you, I just want to clear some confusion that I have.
