Dominic's First Flight In A Small Airplane - Dan's Aeronca Champion

Dominic has flown many flights in large airplanes including, but not limited to A380s and 787s. He has even flown in a Bell UH-1 helicopter. This was Dominic's first flight in a small airplane. My cousin Dan took him for a flight in his 1946 Aeronca Champ 7AC Conv.. It is a single engine two seater. Dominic had a blast.

He will remember that for the rest of his life. I loved that tiny grin hiding behind the mic just after he reached for his armrest. He was hooked at that point.

He was a little nervous. That is one of the reasons I gave him a GoPro to video with to help keep his mind off the nervousness.

Thanks again for taking him up. On the way home, he was asking if we could come back the next day. We will definitely give you more excuses to go flying. I want to come back and get some more action shots. The sounds of the take offs and touch-and-goes were nice.
