Eboni K is entitled to have her preferences. The problem is that she's complaining about her preferences not being available. That means you either have to be lonely, or adjust your mindset.
The other problem with her and women like her is that the they expect the relationships to revolve around them, their demands. Their expectations, and their desires. If the men have demands or expectations or desires, we are called narcissists. Wimen don't care about what men want or need
They want their demands met before they even consider doing anything for a man.
One last thing. The things they think make them worth of a "high value" man aren't the things men are looking for in a woman. But Ebinu and others are training younger women to have these same demands and be willing to offer nothing but a pretty face, body, and vagina.

DL gave a pointed reminder that those who have had to grind their way to success over a long period of time have many options and they will likely decide not to choose someone who has been waiting on the side that entire time for them to be successful, before deciding to give them their attention. In the bus driver analogy who owns the bus, he'd have to start being a bus driver in his teen or early twenties and wait until his late 30s at earliest, but most likely in his mid to late 40s to actually own the bus. By that time he'd already either have someone who decided to be with him before he owned the bus, or decide be with a much younger woman even after he owned the bus.

This is potential versus actualized potential. People with actualized potential have shown and proved they will put in the work and figured out how to solve problems. People with just potential are hope and promises. Some will actualize but many won’t and you can’t get that time back. Also income disparity can lead to problems if the person with lesser income feels insecure about it. It can turn into resentment. This tends to be more true for men due to societal expectations that they earn more. And plenty of women have “invested” in men to help them achieve success only to then be discarded for a younger model. And some of these potentials have no interest in actualizing. And some just want access to better resources with minimal effort. If a woman chooses a man who actualized she knows he can have others but ultimately he chose her but it wasn’t because he “needed” her for basic life support. Potential is cool but only if the person is actually taking steps to actualize.
And if you’ve made it, why would you want to go backwards instead of reaching out to people who already are where you’re at so that you could build even more and you know both are willing to do it?

Black women have been used since their departure from the plantation by and for the black man's survival and upward mobility. Yes ladies have your preference, don't settle. Black ladies are socialized to have low expectations. White ladies are socialized to have standards. When black ladies have standards we are goldiggers. When White ladies have standards, it's acceptable. Black men will rise to the occasion to date Becky but not when they date a black lady. White ladies can be soft and feminine because men provide an environment for them to do so. Black ladies are forced to be masculine and hustle to get the bag because black men don't provide an environment for us to be soft and feminine. That being said, black ladies open your options and date outside of black men. Let them protect and provide for their preference (Becky). Train your eyes to find other nationality of men attractive. So it's a crazy expectation even for them. I have seen many White women working with their man to start and grow a small business into an empire in my lifetime. I've hardly seen any examples of that from Black women. They want to show up after it's already built. Ebony's attitude is a prime example of this. She could have married much younger. Another attorney starting out, but she probably had this same attitude back then. She wanted the man already accomplished. When the accomplished man already has a woman.

Also, most men don't view dating a woman who earns less than them as "settling down" but women do if they date a man earning less than her. I want her to be less career-oriented so that I can easily gain access to her time and customize her for my life and put her on my program. This is what it means to lead as a man. And I don't have to compromise my priorities either. If a woman doesn't want to get 100% onto my program, then I can just find another beautiful woman who will. This is the reality that feminist women struggle to comprehend. They have no leverage. Why? Because women rule sex, but men rule access to relationships. Have a nice night.
