Hey Suzy Great Video, I Love It Alot! I Just Have A Situation With The Big Green Machine Carpet Shampooer, Trying To Use The Solutions You Provided??? The Machine Itself Fills Up With 32 Cups Of Water 💧 Which Is 2 Gallons . My Question Is ( Since The Machine Will Be Filled With Water Itself!) How 🤔 Do I After Making The Solution, Use It ??? Cause I Can Put 1 Cup Of SolutionTo 3 Cups Of Water But Then I Would Have To Add It With Another Thing Of Water 💧, Which Would Be The Fresh Water Container Itself From The Machine??? How to Do This Please????
Hi there. My machine has one reservoir for water and shampoo There is a maximum fill line for water then a fill line above that for shampoo. Therefore, my machine indicates the amount of solution to use. I’m not sure of how your works. I would make the full recipe and use the same amount of shampoo as you usually do. You can then store the remaining shampoo. I hope this helps.
@@suzyrebelo, Thanks For Responding Suzy! May The MOST HIGH BLESS AND 🙌 YOUR FAMILY! I Was Thinking The Same Thing, My Confusion @ The Moment Was After I Made The Solution, I Was Going To Then Add The Solution To More Water Once I Put In The Machine, Cause I Too Have A Fill Line Aswell ( I Have The Big Green BISSELL MACHINE 1) I Guess The Water 💧 To Water 💧 Was My Issue Of Confusion, But Now I See 👀 Just Make The RECIPE Yet Still Even Though I Have To Add To MORE WATER 💧 ( FILL LINE OF MY BISSELL CARPET SHAMPOOER)
Very new to vacuum cleaning.Want to know are there wet vacuum cleaners as well as dry vacuum cleaners.Which one to buy? Moved to New house in New country and the carpet looks really dirty. Can anyone suggest how to start.
I have a vacuum for carpet and floors and I have a carpet cleaner to wash carpet and rugs. There are so many good brands on the market. I would recommend going to the store and testing some out. My vacuum is 1200 watts and has very good suction power so it cleans well. Read reviews on different models before making your final selection. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
Hi there. So I just measured my scoop. It’s 2 tbsp. I used oxiclean powder stain remover. It comes in 680 g and does 32 loads. It’s a good time for spring cleaning. I have my carpet cleaner ready to go too. Hope this answers your question. Thanks for watching.

Hi there. If you quadruple the recipe you’ll get 4 gallons of prepared solution. I don’t know the measurements for a gallon of concentrate. I think it’s best to make in smaller amounts so the solution doesn’t lose its effectiveness by sitting around too long. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
Hi there. The recipe I made yields 16 cups of solution. Use that directly in your machine. If you made a concentrated version (without adding full 16 cups of water) you’d have to add the water back when you go to shampoo your carpet. Hope that makes sense. It works really well.
Hi. This recipe is for 16 cups of prepared solution which = 1 gallon of prepared solution. Make the concentrate as I do in the video, when you’re ready to shampoo, add 12 cups of hot water to the concentrate to get your 1 gallon or 16 cups of prepared solution. Hope this helps. Happy cleaning
Sorry but am I missing something? Been using the recipe for 15-20 years yet you still have to read how much of the 4 ingredients you have to put into the concentrate plus, why is the water already dirty in your machine before you even start cleaning your rug?
Hello. I guess my memory isn’t as good as it once was. I’m only making this a couple of times a year. Therefore I don’t remember exact measurements. I make a lot of recipes so I always refer back to my notes. My machine is more than 10 years old so the plastic reservoir has turned amber or yellow in colour. I think that’s what you’re seeing. The water was clean tap water to start. I get great results from this solution. If you try it I hope you like it as much as I do. Thanks for watching.
@steeveebee1 That’s just out rude comment. It’s no crime to not remembering measurements, till the time she is able to give you correct measurements you have no business commenting how she does it . Looks like you are frustrated over something
It has nothing to do with the quality of carpet cleaner, soap leaves a reside, period. That's why dish detergent, laundry detergent, carpet cleaner, etc are all different kinds of cleaners instead of there just being one universal "soap" that's used for every application. I mean, would you wash your hair with dish soap? Of course not, because different kinds of soap behave in different ways and cannot be used for every situation. That said, as long as you rinse your upholstery/carpet thoroughly enough after shampooing, it won't leave a residue. Any cleaning product will leave a residue if you don't rinse well enough.
@@jazminad If this video was a great idea to actually clean carpets, then professionals would use this crap. But they don't because this is not a great way to clean a carpet.
You’re right. It recommended soaking clothes for up to 6 hours for tough stains. It will be most effective if used immediately. However, I do make it in advance and use it at a later time, it has worked for my carpets. Perhaps making solution in advance, and adding oxygen when you’re ready to shampoo, will produce better results. I’ll test it out next time I’m cleaning. Thanks for sharing and watching the video. Happy cleaning.
@@suzyrebelo , Your solution itself may clean at a later date but not with any assistance from oxy. I might also point out that you are giving potentially dangerous advice...“Do not store solutions for more than 6 hours, as the pressure can build up and the container may rupture, causing injury.” You are pretty non-specific about what chemicals you mix with and this can potentially be dangerous..."Do not mix OxiClean with other chemicals. This includes ammonia, chlorine bleach, and other household chemicals."

I think i might have made it confusing too, by making a concentrate recipe. All is good again! Thanks for watching and happy cleaning.
Thanks ! My carpet is now clean soft and fluffy !
Oh good! All my recipes work for me but I’m so happy to hear you like it too. Thanks for watching.
Vinegar and hot water works very well unless you have stains
Thanks Karie.
Another great idea Suzy- this recipe will really be nice having because I always run out of carpet cleaner but now can always make my own.

What's the volume of the scoop you're using? I have the bottle with 400g (0.89 lbs) Oxyclean and your scoop looks significantly bigger.

I buy the large oxy container, so my scoop is much larger.
Would you have the size/amount of oxy needed in TBSP?

I'm a little confused...the solution she made goes straight in the reservoir tank without watering it down again ?

If you don't use the solution right away, the Oxyclean is going to waste stated on the instructions "Product will remain active for six hours."
