The red face are Sith pure blood. The original Sith when Sith was primarily only a species before it ment something else.

Ah! The cinematic trailers for SW The Old Republic were so beautiful and badass. It's lovely to see them again.

In celebration of the game's 10th anniversary, Bioware remastered and re-released all of the classic cinematic trailers.
The two races you had questions about are Zabrak (the Jedi) and Sith Pureblood. The Zabrak are canon and are shown in live action (Darth Maul, in Episode 2 of Obi Wan).
The Sith species was discovered three thousand years ago on Korriban by exiled human Dark Jedi fleeing Republic space after their defeat in a war called the Second Great Schism. The Dark Jedi quickly enslaved the primitive culture, and over many generations, the two groups intermingled.

You obviously are extremely knowledgeable. Can you provide an explanation why the Jedi Master seemed to just know that he stood no chance against Malgus after he stabbed the Red face Sith?
It just doesn't make complete sense to me since he was holding his own pretty well against the both of them at the same time yet all of a sudden, it's like he has no chance. Just curious if there's more to the sudden shift in the tide back to Malgus, like some lore or game specific information?

@@AG-fv4yb I know you didn't ask me, but my theory is (didn't read up on this particular thing) that Malgus actually held back while both of them fought the Jedi, because Malgus wanted his master dead. In these times, especially when they're just regaining their territory, an apprentice killing his master was extremely frowned upon (since, you know, this is waaaayyyy before the Rule of Two). So I think he deliberately had them lose and left his master as defenseless as he could, so he could play it off as just being unlucky that his master died. Once his master received the blow, he knew he got him, so he used his full might on the Jedi and bested him easily.

@@galaktikuspanda omg, this makes so much sense. Thinking about it, it's the only thing that makes sense. He was about to kill Satele(the apprentice, I think that's her name) within like 15 seconds of them fighting. Do you think the Master sensed Malgus' power which is why he accepted his fate and knew he was going to die? Also within the 2v1 it seemed like he took every opportunity to get "stunned" for an extended period of time and he was telegraphing his moves.
You don't understand how long I've been wanting to understand this lol thank you so much

@@AG-fv4yb I'd say the Jedi Master (who was a Battlemaster, meaning he was extremely good in duels) felt the change in Malgus' fighting and realized that if he barely managed to win against him up until that point, there was no way he can stop him now. But this is purely my theory, so don't take this as a fact. Though this is the only version that makes sense to me. 😁

@@galaktikuspanda bro this has been killing me to understand and all we have our theories, I'm glad to have one that finally makes sense. Also, I didn't realize he was a Battlemaster. I know the guy Malgus killed in Deceived was one, pretty insane he killed two of them, at the height of jedi and sith skill also

One thing I love about the three original cinematic trailers is that they do a fantastic job of showcasing the combat styles of the Jedi versus the Sith. The Jedi are always far more smooth, graceful, and calm, whereas the Sith (in particular Darth Malgus) are always more brutal, direct, and (for lack of a better term) battering.

The Sith lord was a Pure-Blood Sith, while the Jedi Master was an Iridonian Zabrak.

I am a SWTOR player and have been since 2019. I came to the game rather late. I have played all 8 classes, and I love the game. I tend to stick to the solo content, with some PvP play. It basically is a really great RPG for solo players, with MMO aspects in group content. There are a lot of feelings about the lack of love the game gets from BioWare and Electronic Arts (which owns BioWare). It still has a pretty good player base after 10 years and a really tight community, with occasional toxic areas (Ranked PvP, especially). What MMORPG doesn't?
The trailer introduces some of the playable classes in the game that you can customize: Niko Okaar (The Smuggler), Satele Shan (The Jedi Consular), Master Kao Cen Drach (The Zabrak character, The Jedi Knight), Jace Malcolm (The Trooper), all of which represent the Republic side. On the Sith Empire side there is Darth Vindican (The Pureblood Sith, The Sith Inquisitor), and Malgus (later Darth Malgus, Sith Warrior). The only classes not represented in this trailer are The Bounty Hunter, and The Imperial Agent.
Satele Shan, Jace Malcolm, and Darth Malgus are major NPCs in the game, which takes place specifically 10 years after the "Deceived" trailer. Satele Shan is the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order, Jace Malcolm becomes Supreme Commander of the Grand Army of the Republic, and Darth Malgus is a Dark Council of the Sith member.
Malgus is actually a human, not a Ratatakki (the pale-skinned race that Asaj Ventress is a member of).
This is my first visit to your channel. Thanks!

When was Malgus ever a member of the Dark Council? He despised politics and politicians.
