Honestly I preferred Dragon Center over MSI Center. Every update for MSI Center, it resets my mystic light settings. I feel like this application was made for the laptops and not the desktop as it does not look like that for me with most of these options shown here

Just launched MSI Center to change some RGB settings, when I did Mystic light updated, and just like every other time it updates it wiped all my settings/profiles in mystic light. Come on MSI. Reminds me of their motherboards "profiles". As the name implies you can save a profile that will save all of your BIOS settings to a file including fan curve settings. However, even if you backup your profile to a flash drive or something. After you update your BIOS it will NOT let you apply a profile from a dif BIOS version. This is not something that just can't be done. Gigabyte has had this feature for many generations now. You can easily just re apply your profile after a BIOS update in ~3 seconds. And yeah MSI Center is def more focused for use on their laptops. I have it installed on my gaming desktop (MSI MAG TOMAHAWK WIFI X670E) and only use it for mystic light.
Nice, your MSI center/Mystic Light suddenly started to interfere with windows color profile, my screen kept turning green and back to normal. As soon as I removed the software everything was back to normal and stayed normal.

This application has been traumatizing me since I installed it, I don't understand why the change from Dragon Center to MSI Center took place, but it brought a lot of bugs. The worst thing is that I always change my profile from custom to balanced and the water pump of the GPU stops, the next thing is that after each change from Feautures the application freezes or gets stuck in an infinite cycle. MSI, you are such a big company, how is it possible to have such bad software support?

I need some advice. I'm using a Z970 Pro Max WIFI, a Core i7 14700 (not K), and a 4090 in a Corsair 4000D case with a pretty big double fan tower cooler. I found the Cooler Tuning option in the bios. It appears to be set to the stock cooler, not tower cooler. I was considering changing this, but what I don't understand is this... How is Balanced mode in MSI Center boosting my CPU nearly all of the time, and therefore presumably using something like 200W most of the time, if the Cooler Tuning option should be limiting the processor to 65W based on the stock cooler setting? Am I misunderstanding what this does? If I use the silent mode it turns off the boost entirely (not sure what it does in a game but it is off in Windows/when using the internet browser). Also, why is it that MSI Center ignores my fan profiles/curves when I use the Cooling Wizard and has the fans running at speeds above where the curve would suggest for that temperature point?
My stealth 15m only has a battery life of 1h and i'm pretty sure it's because something is forcing it to be in extreme performance mode all the time. I can't change the power mode in the windows settings and it explicitly even says battery saving mode can't be enabled when in performance mode but i don't even have the option to change the battery mode. I checked in nvidia settings and also set that to balanced but nothing changed, so it's gotta be caused by msi. Anyone any idea how to solve this? Switching the user scenario doesn't change anything either

the msi ai engine doesnt enable gaming mode even though i already added my games. this happens when I restart or turn on my laptop... this feature should enable like the previous update/version of this app and doesnt need to reenable it on the msi center
I installed this software PURELY so that I could turn off the LEDs in my fans and stop my Tower from lighting up my bedroom like a god-damn Christmas Tree!
it's laggy, it keeps asking you to download norton, the fan control doesn't go as low as dragon centre and the lights keep going back on after I turned it off which never happened wtih dragon centre. awful produt
Yeah that's some scummy stuff. Esp to have it checked by default. Most people that would use this to check for software updates are probably mostly "regular" users so they would just click install and then bam they got a god awful trial version of Norton installed. Also not a fan of the "MSI Driver installer" or whatever it's called that is part of the BIOS. Similar to ASUS and how they do the same thing with armory crate where by default you will get a pop up on first boot (after windows is installed etc of course) asking if you want to install the drivers for your product. Surprise surprise, that MSI driver installer thing will also try to install Norton by default if you run it. At least that crap can be turned off in BIOS (and even if you don't as far as I know it won't pop up more than once).
Oh yes Thank you MSI for pre-installing Malware on my laptop If you don't let me change my fan curve in the Bios and force me to use your apps at least make them good

I got this software with my gaming laptop and didn't know what it is about. Just the beginning of this video with cutesy dragon in a wizard hat, convinced me to uninstall it immediately! I'm too old to be wooed with childish approach. Thanks for making up my mind!
Every update turns all my settings to default. After latest update mystic light is completely broken. This software has been pure garbage from day one.

I gave up on this...damm app keeps getting worst and worst... regarding CPU utilization on the SDK, never gets down below 14%, resulting in a spiky cpu that reminds me the AMD APUS's on laptops. And i only used for controlling the fans, no other apps besides, "User Scenario". MSI do fix it and give the option for FAN Renaming. Latest 2.024 used on a Z490 Gaming Plus.

This update is absolute garbage. Asking to "restart now" and then after restarting it keeps asking to "restart now". Fix your stuff MSI!

Silent mode is fine but the laptop overheats. You need to let us adjust a bit more precisely the CPU power
after updating the msi center it goes into restart loop and the app not start still after update

im using msi gp62 7re i try to install msi center but there is no option for discreet cpu :(

I'm using the dragon center. Should use I this msi center?
Might as well. Dragon center is deprecated. Meaning it stopped getting updates etc. MSI center is the direct replacement for it.

mystic light is about as good as corsair {i-cue} at messing up the lights regularly now . Dragon center did not have any issues with it.
Also gotta love how mystic light deletes all your settings/profiles whenever it updates as well.
