One thing I stayed away from in Spain, when I was there October 2019, we stayed away from all hotels. We ate where the locals ate, and we drank the local wines. The coffee was always delicious and the meals were good and reasonably priced. I love walking so I was happy to be out on a lovely day. It was still hot in early October in all of Andalusia.

Prices are very fare in Spain. You do get a lot of food and alcohol for very little if you compare it to the US.
