Retwisted my man hair after watching this video! I will say I almost choked slammed him beforehand cause he kept on trying to get me to use a comb (he assumed palm rolling was an ineffective method) but we were both satisfied at the end, ready to practice again!

Kay is right! That is completely normal. Over time the hairs will combine with the loc and compact together! But the frizz is going to be there for a grip 😭

You can try to use a crochet/locking needle to instant lock the ones with looser texture.

it will be difficult to avoid frizz and unraveling washing that often but you can try using a stocking cap to prevent them from unraveling fully

Montranique Runnels frizz is a part of the locking process. So that’s a good thing

I am currently just chillin and letting my locs freely form and do their own think we the acception of seperating when I feel the need to, I just watched because I like retwist videos eventhough I have retwisted my locks before. My question is would you ever consider just going freeform?
