This is awesome, great stuff. How do you use the Force in this video. Just watching though and trying to work out what’s going on… making me want a Rythm to partner with the force!!
Thank you for your kind words ! In this video, the music comes from the Rytm, then goes into FORCE, used for live effects along with a Note Repeat drum rack for spontaneous breaks. The Faderfox UC4 allows me to control the Rytm (especially its Perf controls) and the Akai FORCE (live FX on Rytm & drums levels/fxsend & several drum notes on the bottom of the controler). Hope it is clear. Do not hesitate to ask for more details. Hopefully, I'll make videos with explanations in the next months. Cheers !
this is so sick. i've been looking for a super simple but powerful midi controller for automations in ableton and was trying to decide between the e4 and uc4. this sold me on the uc4. never considered i'd also be able to use the same box with my hardware. love how you're using it!
@@NONOmachines38 have you tried the ec4? pretty sure that's the way to go for me, but would love to hear from someone who's tried both. i think the uc4 could possibly completely replace my push2 for ableton automations and have the added benefit of complimenting the workflow on my elektron boxes.
Havent tried the ec4. I think it is amazing. Have fun trying their possibilities ! I used to think that encoders were the best, now I like rotary knob equally (for different applications of course)
talking about the kick bass rumble ? I used two separate tracks on the AR : one for the kick, and the other for a bass, that has 1/16 trigs when the kick doesn't. and sidechain of course.
Nice groove i have the uc4 as well i almost got the ec4 with the better screen but those faders are worth more than the screen to me and I'm glad i did the push encoders are useful for all kinds of stuff but you can't beat the faders for really carving out on a track
Analogrytm and td3 audio (in this vid td3 doesnt play) go to akai force. This track comes from analogrytm. Akai is used for additional drums on the fly and some dj master effects. All sound designs comes from the (amazing) analogrytm. I didnt work on the recorded master
That is so cool makes me wanna get all four ! ❤ Which one would you pick between the Akai and the Rytm for making techno if you had to chose between them ? Can't decide between these two.
Great music! Question, I am considering the Force also to pair with AR and A4. What are you experiences with syncing with Force? Do you ever record your AR into force and how does it sync up? Hope to hear from you! Kind regards, Rick
Hi ! I think it is a very good combo. lots of possibilities. No problem with syncing. You can record also in various ways (not in such a crazy way than the Octatrack does but still). You can call a specific pattern of your Elektrons via MIDI program change. Etc. Anyway :) have fun with your gear !
Nice one man! Thats a good setup for a live set!! Question: im in the genre of industrial techno and i have a syntakt, what do you think it would be a good combo? 🤔
Thx ! i would say a drum machine. if you like elektron, a digitakt or even (far) better an analogrytm. analog heat is a good device to saturate and pump your stereo master audio. important detail for industrial techno ;)
Wow superb Jam...and combo.
Maybe the best stuff involving Force I've seen on RUclips.

I am glad for you ! it is a wonderful controler, always at the center of my various setup. thanks for your words and good fun !

top!
How you did the low end in the beginning, sounds amazing

damn right. these faders are the controls I use most. In other projects too. The compactness of this machine is a must !
Nice track man
Too much 🔥 nice job
Hope you're progressing with the akai!
Would like to see break down of how you set this up. I just ordered the force and have a rhythm mk1
Nice order ;) i am gonna make an explanation video by the end of the year
Sounds great. Where do you route the audio for this set up?
Analogrytm and td3 audio (in this vid td3 doesnt play) go to akai force. This track comes from analogrytm. Akai is used for additional drums on the fly and some dj master effects. All sound designs comes from the (amazing) analogrytm. I didnt work on the recorded master
Cool!
Nice one, what did you map the FaderFox controls to?
Drumpad vol / send rev & del / RYTM sends rev & del. (sends are in the FORCE). RYTM perf 1 and 2. The crossfade is the global HF
That is so cool makes me wanna get all four ! ❤ Which one would you pick between the Akai and the Rytm for making techno if you had to chose between them ? Can't decide between these two.
No hesitation : analog rytm !!
@@NONOmachines38 Awesome thank you!
