    Really liked your video . Travelled to Kruger from Scotland twice many years ago when my dad tagged wild dogs and lions

    Well done on the video! Just a note that your white-headed vulture is a hooded vulture. White headed are distinctive by their broad red tipped beak with a blue base. Thanks for sharing your sightings!

      Thanks so much for watching👀 and thank you for the correction regarding the vulture, we still pretty new to 'bird watching' so we welcome all the corrections and assistance to better identify in the future🙏👌

    Hello. Hard core Kruger Park lover here. 😂 The sites are not reserved. You have to get there when you can and then look for the best site available. If you can get a site with trees, you have the shade. It's better to try and find one with trees than being forced to take a site that doesn't have trees. You can come prepared with a shade cloth if you like. Thanks for a great video!
    For all those who haven't been to Kruger! Please do! It's a fantastic park! There is just something about it!

      Thanks for watching our videos😊 It's unfortunate that most Kruger camp sites don't do assigned/reserved sites, would avoid the problem of over booking and fellow campers spreading themselves amongst two campsites but technically only have one. However, we were lucky to still grab a really great spot here at Skukuza camp site so it didn't negatively impact us, thankfully👌
      Kruger really is such a special and unique place. We cannot wait to go back and explore the North of the park.

      @@theroamingbutlers Thanks for your reply. Did you actually book beforehand? Or did you just rock up? I must say that even when the park is busy, it has never been overbooked in my experience. The number of electric sites for example are also dictated by the number of plug-points. When you book online, you also have to indicate whether you want an electric site or not. And if there is no more space, you can't book online for a specific camp and must look at one of the other camps. All they really have to do is just control numbers a bit better. But it's really the first time I've ever heard a complaint like this. Please do write a letter to SANPARKS explaining what happened and perhaps also make it clear that you are online influencers. Of course, they should listen to complaints like this regardless of who someone is, but do mention it. I wish you well and I hope you find special camping sites from now on!

    First tip for camping is to set up the tent and gazebo at home otherwise you become a source of entertainment for the other campers until they feel sorry for you and come and assist. 🤣

      @theroamingbutlers  Год назад +1

      We sure were a source of entertainment😂 But maybe we weren't that bad as we didn't get any fellow campers wanting to assist😉 Thanks for watching👀👌
